Big week next week. Year end results should be released. The launch pad hopefully
@ Alarno, yes, I like the space Goodbody are in. With GPs overworked and at a time when there is growing demand for blood testing. Makes sense if you can pop to your local pharmacy and get instant results.
So perhaps the GPs could out source blood testing to the private sector. Cheaper for them in the long run with not having to use couriers etc
On the recruiting, Ian Strachan says in the interview below....'we’re already developing the plans, the strategies and the training, because all these pharmacies will be trained up, in fingerprint testing, in finger prick extraction of blood and the analysis of those results, which will be integrated, of course, with GP surgeries when appropriate'.
Correction: 2000 community hubs for testing
According to the Goodbody website targeting 2000 pharmacy test sites by 2024
Thanks alarno. Interesting read that Arden one. Need to back-up their initial Pharmacies doing the blood tests with a bigger roll out now because the 'public demand' is clearly there.

It's clear this Ian Strachan is a serious heavy hitter in the pharmacy world as Chair of the National Pharmacy Association. Sounds like he's going to be instrumental (and he refers to a team of "trailblazers") in supporting recruitment of the pharmacies and getting them up and running to deliver the Goodbody services. I am feeling more confident about their pharmacy recruitment plans now.
Not sure why it does that when I copy the link. However, really interesting piece on directors talk 4 hours ago.
