Silverspoons thanks for the explanation.
Who knows in this time of changes, where almost everything is challenged at the same time, we might even get to the bottom on how much actual silver is left in Comex / LBMA.
Yes Costco does and has silver and gold on display. I’m enquiring about the delivery today.
In the cast of schrodinger's cat, whether it is alive or dead can only be determined upon opening the box. The concept being that before you open the box the state of the cat can only be described as a probability. Continuing this onto warehouses, the contents of a warehouse can only be fully known once it is emptied, prior to that their is always the probability that the recorded contents and the actual contents differ.
I bought some before the ex div and some after on the over done drop.....I have them more as a hedge as anything
Whilst the Dollar prices should go up...it does concern me that the number of Dollars out there has increased considerably as well ....so..it is all ..to some extent about finding what the "value" level of the Dollar is and will be...
One has to hope that the Dollar " value" will be reflected in PM price increases in order to match its buying power
Silverspoons,
"Ever considered the concept of Schrodinger's warehouse?" Are you referring to the Schrodinger's cat that apparently illustrates a paradox of quantum superposition in quantum mechanics ? if so, please enlighten me as unfortunately I have not studied that part of physics during my education.
Ever considered the concept of Schrodinger's warehouse?
im hoping that FRES will undergo its own period of irrational exuberance. For that to happen $30oz silver needs to be taken out and $50 hit. Given everything that is going on with money printing, Basel 3 and the Reddit brigade i would think that the next few months is as good an opportunity as ever for this to happen. I am sure the monkey hammer will be brought out a few times , but the balance has shifted a little. The silver market is as tight as it has been for a long time ( see cost to roll contracts, perth mint being all out of stock etc etc) it wont take much for this to blow up. An extra 100m Oz of physical demand this year would be a huge huge change and i think we will see that.
Silverspoons, I take your point but a silver squeeze at this point of the game is very relevant.
Basel III will be in play on the 28th of June. See article below

When it comes to trading in financial instruments Enron was a window on how these guys behave. Don't expect them to fight fair. These guys can spend limitless amounts to defend their position over the short to medium term and can even get governments to change the rules if required. Personally I think there are huge market valuation mismatches going on at the moment, across all sectors, with some companies trading in stratospheric p/e ratios, and other covid hammered companies trading as if the last 16 months hadn't happened. Question is, when will this period of irrational valuations come to an end. Not soon given how willing governments are to print money at the moment. Moral hazard is rampant and the non thinking tracker fund is king.
Buggerthebanks,
many thanks for the tip !
Shareminator, you may find Atkinsons Bullion cheaper than BBP. In 100oz quantities, Britannias are around £1.80 cheaper p/oz right now.
You can buy me a pint ;)
Dark Knight, my opinion is biased. LMAO
Sharem, you could well struggle to get it plus 20% is a big hit. I think most direct way to do this is still to buy PSLV which to my knowledge draws off comex. Most legitimate physical etf there is.
Having said that, physical is the ultimate because there is no counterparty. If there isn't that VAT issue, I would be buying now. I hear Costco sells them.
Cheers.
Carvegyber,
I will personally buy 100oz of silver coins, probably Britannia on Friday Afternoon . They would cost £3000 with VAT at current price, So yes I will make a loss of 20% on VAT straightaway and yes I will make additional loss to the Bullion by Post Margin. However, personally one of the things that annoys me the most in the world is the silver market manipulation as it has gone unpunished for decades and has affected my finance . I would be willing to chip in to see legalized criminal organizations such Crimex and LBMA to loose their grip on the blatant manipulation.
all, anyone have opions or analysis on the upcoming results ?
Sharem, so the message is for 100,000 people to buy 100oz of silver on May 1st and squeeze comex. At current prices, this is less than £2000. They are organising this on Reddit and the twitter channel.
When I first started following Wallstreetsilver on reddit, they had around 18k followers. Now they have 63k and countless more on twitter. I don't think it is beyond the realms and for the sake of £2000, I am going to be counted and see where this gets us. 100k people? Easy.
I will stick £2000 into PSLV this Friday April 30th. Sit back and watch it explode haha.....
Never give up on FRES.
A sudden move up comes when least expected.
Fingers crossed, as I foolishly threw the kitchen sink at FRES and have a silly number of shares now. A second silver squeeze would be nice!!
