Agree, anyone who has been on internet forums long enough, whether it's stocks, gaming, Reddit or whatever, will know that there is always a bunch of those who present themselves as the Met Police of balanced opinions, they speak well, use big words and push the rhetoric in a way to make you look stupid.
If I buy a BMW M3, why am I going to constantly bang on how it drinks so much petrol? It's an M3, I knew what I was buying into with the M3, I knew about it's fuel consumption and the risks I took of having to spend all of my spare cash just to run it. I would much rather spend my time talking about how much I enjoy it.
Rowka - Don't get sucked in Rowka. Tactics are as obvious, as they are predicable. Obvious to everyone who has been on this BB for any period of time that you have an "anti fan club" that will snipe, and try and goad sneakily. Just you continue with your geological research and personal insights - which I for one find of more interest than any of the self centred comments from the naysayers. Your upticks show that you have the support of the majority here - even though I cant bring myself to value this at £3.50 a share, as that would make me a $6 dollar man - which is too much for me to dream of !!. Take care. Mayt….
GeckoLG...it is still cross rampimg. I have done it myself just by including the stock in a sentence....and hope pi's check it out.
Also happily holding both. But spending most time on this BB and excited to be a SH in EUA. This mornings news was nice to wake up to.
Bizzare conclusion Rowka imop
I fully agree gritin. If it wasn't for Amers on the metro board I would have missed my opportunity here.
Hi Rowka,
No tactics here i can assure you, just a very contended shareholder to be in both of these fantastic companies. I have held EUA shares for more than 10 years and appreciate your technical input here as much as the next person.Chill.
Indeed they are Stix. I think we can all appreciate balanced discussion and comparison between two of the most exciting companies i have had the good fortune to come across many years ago. if it wasn't for people mentioning other opportunities on boards i would never have know about EUA or GGP come to that. Totally different scenario to someone ramping across multiple boards with the usual nonsense comments ! Hold equal amounts of EUA and GGP and not going anywhere.
Plug for gold
If you want to buy and spend Gold !
I can recommend tallymoney.com
my holding is up 30% , beats a tsb isa .

They are both great shares !

A gentle reminder folks. This is the Eurasia Mining BB and it’s not as if we haven’t lots to talk about with this mind boggling share.
I wish everyone all the best with other investments including myself.
This is a wonderful share and place to be at the moment apart from I’m getting no sleep.
Keep the Eurasia Mining posts flowing.
Regards
Ryan
chill ROWKA
we arent in compotition i dont see the issue with discussing different mines
its certainly better than some of the drivle that gets posted
personaly looking at different mines and the different places they are in the cykle is very prudent for reasearch
sorry for the big D
Cheers fella ... not like I started the convo
*hole not whole was an unintended pun
The real excitement with GGP is the size of the Haverion find. Currently waiting on the MRE in Q3/4 to confirm, but we are likely looking at a mine size of 10-15moz - to put that into context, the 5th largest gold mine in the world is circa 12moz, so there's some real upside to be had in the SP.
Post MRE, I would not be surprised to see an offer from Newcrest (the JV partner) to acquire the hole thing. And that still leaves the other mines GGP are smashing
As for the BoD - simply first class
I'm a shareholder in both too, having come late to the party.
No expert with the technical data on both but pleased to read it.
With no axe to grind, and a foot in both camps, the comparison between the 2 is helpful.
For my part, i would say:
There's an air of frustration on GGP, whereas with EURA an air of relaxed assuredness.
Interesting to see which will bring home largest return.
EURA in my opinion.
Is that Lance Clayton you are talking of?
I could never trust anybody who can't even spell the word excellence. Unless his actual name is Lance, in which case he's a genius and all his posts should be taken as fact.
I'm a large s/h in both EUA and GGP. Just to correct one point..GGP has about 8 possible mines. It's value at the moment is based on only one of them, Havieron which is a joint venture with Newcrest. IMO there is hardly anything in the price for the other tenements, which will be gradually drilled in the coming months, with a corresponding ongoing rise in the SP. EUA is very different as it's assets are known to a certain extent and it's put itself up for sale. So I'm hoping for an explosive rise in EUA within a few months compared to a gradual rise in GGP. Most of my profit from EUA will be put into GGP.
In fact dont bother, the debate is evolving on ADVFN & that is the source after all.
Not really my facts, & I dont know enough about GGP to argue, so feel free to use the EXCELLANCE post as a base & correct it as needed.
Ive got np & could use a GGP expert to flesh out the comparison.
Hi, Rockie,
in all fairness they are NOT Wolster's facts, he was just reposting an opinion from 'Excellance' on ADVFN so to blame Wolster would be incorrect, would it not?
Just saying, all the best.
Wolster, you really do need to take the grit out of your eyes. I'm not here to cross ramp but my God your facts on GGP are way off the mark. Please re check your facts
Excellance on the other bb
"news or no news, there is building anticipation that the flanks news is imminent and following that all the players have everything they need to place their bets, make their bids. onwards and upwards. is a comparison with GGP helpful? similar mkt cap, but they will only own 30% of their asset while we own 80% theirs is gold which is still $200 cheaper than palladium theirs is a km beneath the ground while ours is near surface GGP wont be mining for at least 5 years, we are already mining! something very wrong, either GGP way over value or we are way under! not dissing GGP, merely comparing where both companies are in the cycle."
Interesting comparison - suppose we have to add EUA - Russian, GGP - Aussy (I believe), but even so shows plenty of growth yet.
Also I have no opinion on GGP BOD vs EUA BOD (excellent - worth a couple pence just for them imo)
