I mentioned the MOEX index earlier - now up 3.7% and a couple of companies are about to hit ramming speed including NN - the rise could be an indicator that further sanctions are less likely. Not that I think EUA would be hit by sanctions since we’re connected on the Russian side though the ERDC and Rosgeo agreements and on the Western side with the UK listing. Still, WTFDIK but I think the uptick on MOEX is a good sign in terms of the wider situation and apparently Turkey is now offering to host talks - could be a good way for Russia to calm the situation without loosing face and snub the US at the same time.
In the nuclear world...the real enemy cant be destroyed...war itself. Crimson Tide
How many times - it's posturing.
Utterly no invasion.
Putin to Trump... easy ...
Putin to Biden ....zzzzz.....what you say ......
Goes back to old school ways , now has US attention......
Russia relies on exports do you seriously think they want to cut of their main markets for GAS ???
No.
Perhaps you should look further than agenda driven press....
They need to bl00dy hurry up with this deal now!!! I think we are in some serious trouble if Russia invades Ukraine!!
Maybe you should explain who Nancy Pelosi is too ?
Guys, keep this under your hats, but I've been told Nancy Pelosi has just gone big in EUA. She had a short opened trying to push the Ukraine narrative but SP started rising on positive news.
they have a system work around and its not likely to happen anyway reuters reporting yesterday its off the table already

have aread of this, they have a system to counter this
Gazalad…if you care to view my first post I raised my question because I wanted to know what other people’s opinion was on a piece of news that alarmed me.
I was watching Newsnight last night and towards the end of the program there was a piece about Ukraine . The reporter said that the West were considering removing the swift banking system as a potential sanction in the event of the threat escalating.
Someone said they did not see how it affected Eurasia.
I wondered what people’s view were, as this news represented a risk and I have a lot of money invested here.
That’s it.
The censorship on this website is beyond parody. You can't say a country name but you can say twat. What the deuce!
To answer the OP, nyet. DId you know that during ww2 Ford was selling industrial secrets to ze Nazis? Plus this is all just grandchessboard shuffling under a weaker (arguably suffering from dementia as bad as Regan second term) POTUS than the last one. Then one has to accept the fact EUA are UK listed so that's that one broadsided unless the world goes to pot tomorrow. Further as someone else noted the tit for tat soft power plays like banking services and gas provision being rescinded will keep this as a regional hot conflict at worst. At best some troops march around borders jeering at one another with the occasional fisticuffs. Same thing happening between India and China on their border but it rarely gets talked about. And India and ****stan, I recall reading that 2 patrols got into a brawl but despite having guns only used them as clubs. Not sure if that shows restraint or not lol.
And honestly. After all the years of poking Russian bears as a conveniant skygoat for western political talking points (not just the yanks, same Russian collusion/interferance was talked about in regards to Brexit and Le Pen but never gained the same traction as in America during Trump but held the same merit regardless.) I'll say what I've always said. Stop prodding sleeping Russian bears for crying out loud.
We should have brought them into NATO and then none of this would be happening cos NATO members can't go attacking other NATO members. It'd sort out the Turkish/Russian beef as well. But noooo. NATO gotta NATO. Now don't go thinking I am some BRIC economy lover, quite the inverse. Hence why I'd like to see Russia brought closer to the West than pushed into the arms of China of which they maybe allies on paper but from what I've gathered they are far from friendly. I recall that time Putin stumped Russian money for an oil pipeline to China and China at the last moment changed terms in a way that forced Putins hand. This happened during an official trip to sign off on the project. Putin left the same day redfaced. I don't think he's ever forgiven the CCP for that. So Russia will only go to China if we force their hand as Russians know the CCP do dirty business even by the USSR standards. Evergrande anyone? At least the Soviets went bust building nuclear subs and chasing NASA. At this rate the CCP will go bust buidling apartments no one will ever live in.
Anyway. Feet up and relaxed looking forward to one day visiting Pripyat, St Petersburg and whatever Stalingrad got renamed to. Volgagrad? Quite possibly with long term dividends generated via EUA 2.0 and a successful business mining minerals as well as producing hydrogen and ammonia in Russia.
Also agree with Gaza bregrudgingly given I am that free speech guy but if free to speak then free to respond (verbally, not physically and within the remit of the law ie no calls to violence or defamation etc). Hence the opening which may get the thread yeeted in this day and age.
Also. Godwins Law is fulfi
Goodnight Bumble.
Start the car.......
GAZA,
The good thing is IMO the upcoming RNS's will soon put this all to bed and we can open that bottle of Cristal and toast the BOD.
Anyway, time for bed, see you all in the morning, Goodnight
I reported this thread yesterday but LSE seem happy to let it ride.
My reason given is that I felt that this thread was started on purpose as a disruption only.
The person who started this thread probably has no real interest in what is happening with Russia / Ukraine.
If this poster is invested in EUA then this thread would not be started / posted in the first place.
The BOTS have jumped all over this because they are are now clutching at any straw available - there aren't many straws left to find.
What's next? Dimitry has stayed at Jeffrey Epstein's house? Christian Schaffalitzky has been spotted on the Ukraine / Russia border driving a tank?
What do the BOTS do to ensure a very detailed thread about EUA is deleted? They bombard it with obscenities, untruths and more. So you not what to do boys and girls.
There is free speech and there is misleading information. The purpose of this thread is to encourage you to part with your shares under instruction. You would be mad to do that at this stage (unless you know something that I don't).
The EUA story speaks for itself and there is so much to come and very soon.
GLA and get this stupid thread taken down.
I won't be replying to any of your comments on what I have just typed - soz.
They will keep bringing it up in the hope of preying on doubting minds, they have very little else to cling to lets face it? Sad as they are and as dismal the consequences of conflict this encapsulate a small minority of of people who frequent these bb’s.
Spotify seems to be very knowledgeable about this ‘glory hole van’
Looks like it’s more than just his words that he chokes on!
This is so overblown and has been discussed and dealt several times over the last couple of weeks.
If and its a HUGE IF the Americans what to play "hardball" with the Russians the Chinese will be queuing up for these commodities, they already control much of the world "rare earths" and would jump at the chance of securing these assets.
Europe and America also import large quantities of oil & gas from Russia, they will not do anything which could jeopardize these supply agreements, especially in the middle of our winter.
Spotty - I prefer Lymm services. It has a McDonald’s AND a Greggs.
Give it a rest now. Seriously it’s pathetic.
Europe needs gas - Russia has plenty of it as we are les to believe. If Russia builds up a massive demand for PGM etc a they will sell it to their neighbours….china where demand if strong
If EUA and russia end up with massive available reserves of battery metals and hydrogen producing capability , then the western world may need what Russia has to the extent they can't sanction and cold shoulder them as has been done in the past .
Putin will know this and he's likely a chess player too!
Same to you Beast!
Oh, feck it, just transfer my divi via Ripple please
Thank you folio. A cogent response
Not at all. Some are genuinely concerned. Some however are trying to instill fear to make people sell. Perhaps if you read all the Russian media to get a balance and look at why it is happening then perhaps you you see it for what is . Russias way of getting taken seriously. He knows he isn't dealing with Trump so he has to go old school. UBS and DLA Piper both have Russian offices. Where do Russia make there money via oil ,gas and Nickel ' Export ...so if you had a shop and most of your business was online are you going to close it?
The German foreign minister was in Russia today highlighting the need for good relations between Germany and Russia. She mentioned speaking to someone about a hydrogen project - surely not DS brokering international peace deals while finalising EUA1??
From interfax:
She noted that during the negotiations it is important to "calmly, allotting enough time, to discuss the whole range of bilateral and international topics".
"There are a lot of such topics in our relationship. Yesterday I already had a conversation with representatives of the economy on hydrogen," the Foreign Minister added.”
