The directors have a lot of shares. They won't want to dilute too much. I can't see much happening though in the next 3-6 months. I'm keeping a close eye on calibre over the next few months. Fingers crossed for some positive news post September.
Does the name begin with a j and has, I'm sure ,two b''s in the middle ?
Just a matter of a waiting game, this is so undervalued currently, im sure it will come to a succesfull conclusion before the summer is out
GLA LTH adding when i can at these prices
Mbhr, cheers producer.seems to be the magic word presently .good luck.
Gold price rise can only be good.
Frenchie,we are all different.its entirely your perogative to not mention if you buy or sell.most posters on these boards post when they have bought. In regard to mentioning other holdings.heres a funny one.my attention was drawn to bao,tym and hum by a poster here that used to post non stop bullet point posts and predictions of buyouts next year.dont remember him taking too much flak, even when bao collapsed and he disapeared without a trace.there you go we all have our gripes.
Onwards and hopefully onwards.
I held some Atlantic Gold (Producer, Nova Scotia), were taken out a month ago…
Now I hold some Osprey Gold (Explorer, Nova Scotia), undervalued, good properties, will be drilling this summer
*more attractive buyout proposition
Hi all, haven’t posted for a while. With gold breaking new highs this IS a positive for Condor irrespective of our views on mgmt and in spite of the dilution which was disappointing. Let’s hope XAU carries on up and this makes us a moe attractive buyout proportion as this seems to me to be the best outcome for us at the right time.
I’m with Nero and don’t see a need to post when I buy or sell shares. What relevance does it have to the debate, which is what a bulletin board is about. I too don’t like to read about what other stock you are buying and selling, it doesn’t belong on this board.
Munch, loking very good .my point ,this needs clarifying news to be let go imo.its a matter of how long we have to wait.happy to be wrong of course.
Just out of interest are there any other posters that hold other goldies as well as cnr?
NEro,,you must be one of the only holders on here that doesnt state they have bought shares.odd really as it would infer confidence.
I have no real issue with mc,I am confident with my holding .I have more of an issue with agressive bb posters like yourself who cannot accept contrary views and make it personal.;)
Keep the faith ffs. This will explode anytime now with a toll deal. With current prices we are a sitting duck.
Pierre Lassonde said it best 1 or 2 yrs ago: Large mine financing funds have only been going to people who have built mines before and made money for them in the past. Makes sense - lowers risk of the lender.
IFC out is interesting. They represent the US/UK and the fight against communism. Especially the disposition timing of it last month just before B2 calibre deal announcement. Cant believe they were able to dump their 2.5m+ shares in a matter of days at around 17P on the market. The buyer(s) on the other side is probably someone they know that is helping keep the share price as low as possible. How can you dump that many shares on the open market that quickly without preparation?
I'm the one complaining about the CEO nero. He needs to go. Calibre needs to take over to see this to commercial production and beyond (possibly expanding to over 200k oz/yr, proving 5m+ oz, or finding the heat source porphyry). All those scenarios take time, require the right people, and the last thing you want is to have none of them accomplished at the peak of this gold cycle with an under performing stock price. It's in my interest along with other shareholders a merger happens and exchange of shares. The longer it takes, the more pain we'll see. I'm anticipating the pain (another -30% if need be) because I dont have much faith in MC. Classic case of good deposit & bad ceo.
Ross beaty, not intended to refer to Condor, said in his latest interview , "For an exploration team to say well we're going to build a mining company with this asset without any skillset to do that..... is a essentially a leap of faith.......don't do something you're not suppose to do".
Put the Yorkshire terrier on a lead Ffs
Nero we all have opinions . Fact is this share has been sliding for a good 7 years . Chairman is a bit of beige polyester wearing lights off missionary type of person , if you get what I'm saying . We needed and need some fire works .... some razzamataz some showmanship, that is severely lacking in this world class resource. It should have happened a long long time ago alas , a lot including my self feel very let down. It's not as simple as sell up and go or to coin a current phase "go back " ahem .... it's broken this share and we want it fixed . Just as much as you have rose tinted spectacles others see different.
I'm not the one complaining about the CEO!! If you don't approve of his actions or remuneration package, then sell and give us all some peace! And you're wrong again as per usual, I just don't like to report my life story on the board unlike you seingred. FYI, no one cares.
Nero, large investors are being looked after.due dilligence has to be ongoing.did your due dilligence infer a share price of 18 p ?
Cnr is a share holding not a wife.I have had shareholding failures along the way during 35 years investing.Thats why I am cautious.like anybody else I will make a call on when to buy, hold or sell.I sold the last of my sub 20 p shares a couple of weeks ago to top up in Arcm .will assess as we go along.certainly wont be selling out totally.will reduce or increase as I see fit.Hopefully with profits elsewhere. Ihaven't seen you say you have bought any shares in the last year and a half so imagine you probably have a fairly chubby average.time to average down mate.fill your boots before its too late.
Blimey. Well clearly you savvy investors have no faith in the CEO to act in the best interests of share holders so it's time you sold up and moved on. Good thing you did your due dilligence here before buying, I'm sure this was just a blip in your otherwise stirling investment history. Oh well can't win them all hey? Bye bye.
MC has a great incentive as he keeps ensuring his holding won’t be diluted by offering himself options at a huge reduction to most long term holders averages!!
But nero,We are not in a bear market now, gold price is doing well, goldies are on tHe rise so a historic low for raising cash is poor.agree until the last couple of years mc record of raising has been very good.unfortunately at a critical time for development it is not working right.of course we have to raise funds and will still have to raise more but it is crazy to not realise that heavy dilution dictates that many of the optimistic share price targets need revising .Because the development stage should be close I believe we will not move like an early stage explorer.Time will tell I guess.
must say, I totally agree. MC was in Nicaragua last week. And what did we get on monday? RNS on many, many options with a very bad strike level for every LTH. Very bad timing...and 1000000 for Mark...
Still think, it is very positive that Randy Martin took such a large stake over market price before. There surely must have been some dicussions about synergies before...and I think we will hear soon...
MC has the most incentive of anyone not to dilute and by any measure has done a great job keeping dilution as low as possible over the length of this bear market. But issuing equity is how gold explorers raise cash and in a bear market dilution is unavoidably going to be worse than in a bull market. Why is this news to people here?
Shall we moan about the sun going down tonight and other such blindingly obvious and unavoidable events?
Nero ,by my rough calcs in the two fundraises this year we have been diluted circa 40 p cent.and we still havnt got to a bfs or anywhere near a mine build.the large holders are now in a fairly low breakeven situation..I dont have a high average so not such a problem to me but for anyone with high averages big dilution for what is small beer is the last thing you should want to see.
It is in the companies interest to keep the sp as high as possible for cash raising, not let it drop as low as possible to get their averages down as low as possible.
Truth is this is a crap performer ...the potential outweighed reality . And yes we may get a mine we may get a toll agreement we may get tie ups but that's all it is ...pure speculation and because of the speculation over the last 5 plus years , people ain't buying the bull5hit anymore . Needs to be hung on the washing line and given a few hard thwacks.
