So actually looks solid at these levels, someone must still be hoovering up
Thanks, I owned stock pre this time around 80p and sold making a small profit. Came back in a few years back and always wondered what had happened in the meantime, useful thank you
Sjoh, our sp hit £1.39 on the tumour that we had discovered a huge oil field. When if was reported we actually discovered gas condensate the price dropped like a rock and kept going.
Ironically had condensate is precisely what the world needs now so happy days did us. It just takes a lot of patience.
Not going ahead with developing the discovery and drop in POO
Historically - what drove the massive decline in SP back then?
I’d be very happy with 20x increase from 4p it would pay for mother in laws care home fees and give us a bit spare!!!
To get to the same level sp needs to atkeast 20x from here
20th April 2012.
428,778,404 shares @ 139p
£596m Mcap
Any one knows what was the macap and issued shares at that time when it hit £1.39? Then we can compare like for like ; if any farm out news it will fly to 10x than current price. Question is if any happening now or we are just speculating? Been holding this for long hope this time they capitalise given there is gas crisis in Europe and bor will be a part of the solution

Hi Wraith,
Yes I know you’re another ‘lifer’! 139 now that would be quite something…
Hi MrBond007,....from memory, I believe BOR shares, only touched s/p@139p, briefly,.....also from memory, there hasn't been any further placings, since that 2012 placing, apart from the recent one,.....with the current outlook for Oil Price, I'm a very strong holder, of BOR shares.

No RNS yet. Tells its own story.
Or a farmout of course, fully carried/70 million towards back costs and a special divi of 10p each for existing shareholders.
Buyout at this stage, reckon around 65p-80p slight risk pre appraisal
Looks like MM's are trying to panic people into selling.
$1bn is a fair price. 130p a share??
Buyout on the cards I believe, but at what price.......?
Mr Calgary is still buying. He ain't selling.
No news. Don't forget to lock in some profit.
Hi wraith,
Seem to remember being told about that placing. Wasn’t it very badly received by the investors the price spiked during the session and then crashed badly within minutes the following day. Never really recovered because it was suggested the bod had behaved very badly at the time? Clearly! I don’t know the full details!!
Highest BOR s/p I remember, is s/p@139p,.....I believe, that was before the placing BOR did, mentioned in this article dated April 26, 2012 :
https://www.offshore-energy.biz/borders-southern-raises-cash-for-falklands-seismic/
Extract
"Borders & Southern Petroleum announces that is has successfully placed 55,320,000 million new ordinary shares at £0.84 per share with institutional shareholders to raise £46,468,800 million before expenses."

I'd take that!
123p on 20 April 2012

Let’s see what happens tomorrow!
Don’t think that’s until about 30% slider?
