Dear Confused.com ... go and do some research .. then ask a sensible question. LSE rules are 'no advise'.
If you invest because your mate said 'its a winner' ... good luck with that strategy ... now toddle off
Well said Ophidian. If a simple reccomendation is enough then perhaps I can reccomend some of my holdings. If you have a big pension lumper then maybe plough that in and I can retire. Haha!
You said 'mommy'......................... you 'merican?
Its school holidays you dipstick!
@loudspeaker - probably with the "Winkybird"
@Filthy, save me a lot of footwork, in my local library atm, looking for a Jim Slater book Goldenrod and the kidnappers, should I start looking for it in the children's or adult section.
Filthy - is the same Jim Slater who ended up writing Snuggly (the Dragon Books) ?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Snuggly-Dragon-Books-Jim-Slater/dp/0583303978/ref=sr_1_1?qid=1566301460&refinements=p_27%3AJim+Slater&s=books&sr=1-1
Corrected - Sorry A12DY! I was typing and sending way to fast! More haste less speed ;-))
Battlecry - I can add some positivity - it is all now what to do!
It is going to be huge!!
The company makes over $1m profit per week!!
Now do your self a favour and read the bushveld website
http://www.bushveldminerals.com/
Listen to all the interviews and when you have done that read The Bushveld Perspective https://www.thebushveldperspective.com/start-here2
Should keep you busy for a day or two. You might then have a question or two!
Happy reading and watching. Research is king, patience is important and you may make a penny or two. Impatient - you will lose a fortune!
Cheers RK
i am glad to see someone else promote Jim Slater's book The Zulu Principle. It's one of the best I've ever read, along with both of Peter Lynch's excellent books Beating the Street, and One Up on Wall Street.
So was it the same Jim Slater?
Beechcomber please don't be a stranger here. It is very important that new genuine shareholders join the party. Hope to hear more from you.
Regards. Pdub.
Cheers Pdub...I rarely comment as I can't improve on the factual notes others put together; but I take massive exception to people bashing others who have taken time, effort and consideration to support other investors with access to genuine information, understanding and viewpoints, and adding nothing themselves. I, as others here, are shareholders in Bushveld in the truest sense; we own part of a fantastic company in an exciting, development commodity, lead by an excellent management board that has clearly stated long-term ambitions and concrete plans, which it is so far delivering on very well. Happy to consider true risks, that's investing; but these hapless attempts to talk the company down with childish, scary baseless comments is embarrassing and pathetic.
Right, that's off my chest - I'll go quiet for another six months, much to everyone's relief I suspect!
Spot on Beechcomber.
Regards. Pdub.
makes fascinating reading too:- https://web.archive.org/web/20071005175235/http://www.hm-treasury.gov.uk./about/information/foi_disclosures/2005/foi_slater_walker_2005.cfm
... that's Jim Slater of Slater Walker that had to be bailed out by the Bank of England, right ? ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slater_Walker )
And perhaps he could avoid people spouting generalities...? Positive or negative, a comment is simply a comment unless it is backed up by verifiable facts or data...which is perhaps why it may be unfair to categorise many of the 'rampers' on this board as such; in the past couple of years of reading, I have found very few of the 'regulars' have made unsubstantiated comments, other than in good humour or exasperation at unfounded negativity. This could not be said of those categorised 'trolls'...easily recognisable by their total lack of supporting facts or willingness to debate the company's merits (apart from relentless commentary on the one-dimensional single aspect of the company, it's current SP...).
Just thinking out loud...
You forgot to add, make sure you also dismiss overly negative comments as these are usually made by people shorting the share......

Your link don't work, I think you put a full stop at the end, it's

Battlecry?.....melt
That's hilarious
@Battlecry, stretching credulity somewhat to answer but anyway...… If BMN was your first share purchase as you say and this is your approach, then the best advice you can get is STOP BUYING SHARES. You first need to be able to INDEPENDENTLY research you potential investments and only then once you can answer all the questions you might have for yourself, make a purchase.
Ophidian
What was the basis of your friends reccomendation ?
New to share buying (first trade BMN) and purchased after strong recommendation from a friend. Can someone please provide positivity about these shares as all they ever seem to do is drop yet many saying nothing to worry about and to buy more!?
