I agree with much of what you say, but I have to correct that salary figure before it starts being believed.
The last reported salary for AV was £360,780 - very far from £4 million.
Eye‧wa‧ter‧ing /ˈaɪˌwɔːtərɪŋ $ -ˌwɒː-, -ˌwɑː-/ adjective
an eyewatering amount of money is an extremely large one
He is on an eyewatering salary of £4 million a year.
Bohercom,
i'm in both, as a few others will be. kodal are far more dynamic and exciting, andrada are a very slow build whereas far more impressed with kodals just get on with it approach.
this is why i would always reccommend geologists are running the show rather than ex bankers tbh. they have a love for minerals and exploring and getting the stuff out the ground, whereas bankers as ceos tend to fixate on deals.
i think if i ever see that eye watering quote one more time i'm going to do something stupid....:-)
its all very well for AV to have these famous quotes like "you dont mine from a spreadsheet" well you also dont do deals from a spreadsheet and sit on it for months on end.
there are plenty of lithium resources out there (it isnt a particularly rare element) and strategic moves are being made, we dont want to miss the boat.
as many will know from my other posts he is extremely frustrating to me. if somebody offered me an "eye watering amount" for my house what would i do say, nah, i'll look around for 6 months and get back to you
it was either eye watering and he should get on with it or stfu.
kodals deal was great and they are getting on with it (and the company was originally gold and now they can get on with that too).
If there are any other ATM holders who also own Kodal Minerals - did you spot the small link that emerged yesterday ?
KOD appointed Lei (David) Teng as a Non-Executive Director. Lei Teng is President of the Chinese company Hainan Mining (part of the massive Foson group), who have invested over $100m in KOD to build their lithium mine.
This is the same Lei Teng who visited our Uis mine in July 2022. After this visit, Anthony Viljeon started telling people that the "Chinese delegation" had said "I'll buy this", and that "the numbers were eye watering".
This visit, and others, seems to have fed into the whole Strategic Review process. I wonder if Hainan are still one of our interested parties ?
I am really hoping that in 2024, we can see decent SP rises, actually retaining them and setting new Bollinger band levels.
One of the things I do get is blue envy of other shares on my watchlist, I must admit in 2022 when entered here, I thought by now, we'd be further down the road SP wise and I could of started top slicing into other targets I have addressed.
Though, I can patiently wait for things that are good, I feel this is the year it must all happen for ATM. I am expecting a SP at year end to be vastly multiplies of my average.
I hope the wait is worth it!
Fingers crossed , feels like we are gearing up for lots of news flow this year. That’s my thoughts anyway
We must be getting the quarterly update soon, normally around this time?
Lets hope todays announcement is the first of many of the jigsaw pieces coming together.
" ... got over excited when I saw “Funding Agreement” :-)"
... looks like the market makers also got over excited, first thing this morning they enthusiastically lifted the ask to 5.20 p but now drifting back to more normal levels
I got over excited when I saw “Funding Agreement” :-)
Looking forward when ATM moves out of AIM and into the main market, i see no reason that this is a probability if AV delivers on his target of becoming a medium mining company worth 1B.
Likewise RichyF3, I am adding when I can, I am struggling to see a better option on AIM at the moment.
I’ve added a few more today , I’ll keep adding on weakness.
My buy today was marked down as a sell, the first transaction of the day.
Tin trying for for 29k :)
Well from what I can see there has been 10 recorded trades totalling circa 70k with 7 buys and 3 sales totalling about 14k of that figure yet the sp was marked down from 4.7-4.8 to 4.5-4.8 after the first sale of less than 10k which makes no sense to me whatsoever ,so when folk talk of the mm’s taking the proverbial , that there today must be a classic example of exactly that - no wonder markets are called irrational
'Anyone know what prices they need to break even?'
Tin,..$17,000/mt
Lithium,.. for free.
Anyone know what prices they need to break even?
Good start to the week.

Anyone know an AIM company producing both of these?
…..by the looks of things.

Some excellent posts on here of late so big thanks to all concerned just noticed this https://www.ft.com/content/ba9d43aa-b1ab-4244-82b2-7bd12d3799ac
in the FT about Nissan / Honda tie up as the EV revolution really starts to ramp up with VW also looking at doing likewise with Renault so here’s yet another massive opportunity for Atm down the line me thinks as this is where we hope to be heading based on these 2 excerpts from the last Rns
“We are pleased to report significant progress on the Strategic Process. Discussions with international organisations from within the lithium value chain are advanced. We are encouraged by the level and quality of interest from interested parties."
and then this
“In the short-term, we are targeting initial sales of our Pilot Plant production into the spot glass-ceramics market whilst progressing discussions with potential long-term offtakers across the lithium value chain to access other markets,
particularly the battery market.”
Putting all the pieces together with the impending JV on board is indicating to me that Atm is defo well placed to see why AV thinks this could ultimately become a billion dollar company …. Well we can but hope but I’ve just added another 40k for good measure . Anyway a good weekend to all invested here exciting times .
