I was only nervous at £1.30 because of how close to a margin call I was getting and unable to cover it xDDD
I was with you Moog - on this drop I felt it was only a question of when not if it would go back up, unless the floor out of bitcoin at the same time
To reply to the opening comment, no - I am very relaxed. I've not sold a single share. I would have bought more but I'm fully loaded up in this sector. We are on track to hit £10 a share later this year. Nice to have a solid green day today after two months of the share price going sideways or plunging. Very surprised we dropped as low as we did - I am still surprised that we are below £2. Perhaps all the institutional investor sell offs have happened and we have turned a corner. Who knows - I have long given up trying to predict the market in the short term. Confident of riches in the medium and longer term. Anyone panicking about the roller-coast ride should realise the P/L only crystallises when they sell. GLA.
Haha RC. A perfect analogy!! I definitely want to go to the main party!! ;)
PS. I'm feeling a darn sight happier now, especially after averaging down in the 1.30s!! I'm still not brave enough to tell the wife though!!
First time we had the big drop have to say I was wondering if it would recover this time t I never lost a seconds sleep
If you are knowledgeable in what we have invested in it was always going to turn out good again
For those that sold out probably at a loss and give your shares away I have little sympathy for you
You invested here in the rise day after day instead of doing your homework and knowing it was a no brained to hold
Personal speaking the only time I will be nervous again when we close in on my exit price of 10 quid and most achievable in the longer term
That's when I retire from this game and hope to have the health to enjoy the riches arb has given me
As usual my own opinion do your own research
GLA TRUE ARGONAUTS
No chance am I selling.
Was it tough these last few days? Of course but much easier than end of January / early Feb tbh.
Got the fun stuff ahead now.
Selling now would be like going to all the trouble of getting dressed up, getting a train/bus/taxi into town, having a drink before the main party and then going home despite being on the guestlist.
And I wanna be around for the sambuca shots end of the night.

Possibility of $25 within 18 months.
guess it depends in your goals and financial situation i bought something like 50 shares at £3 and then watched it slowly walk down until when i saw it hit £2 though id get in there and topped up to 500 shares and then watched it drop even further lol. Will i sell when it goes into profit? Maybe but then im talking small numbers compared to you guys will i hold and see how high it goes again maybe because i dont need the money invested in it right now
best book i ever read: the art of execution
I had a small stash for when it went to 202 couldn't believe it and thought same at 180 when I got my last lot I never thought it would go down to 130 so ran out of cash
I bought some extra at 145 and just sold for a sneaky little profit but not touching my main holding and I certainly wouldn't sell for a loss. If you invest in a share and it goes down in value, consider whether your initial decision was flawed (eg sucked in by ramping); or if fundamentals have now changed. Otherwise hold and think about buying a few more on the cheap.
Always worth trying to have a small stash of cash for moments such as this
I've been invested here for 2 years now. And I'm staying a lot longer because I can see the big upside this company has ahead both in the short and long term, IMO.
Haha I’m a lth but 10 Years ..? Jeez that would be journey - 6 months had seems a lifetime lol
xenor, why give up a third of your shares for a 20% loss, especially in a company with fundamentals as strong as ARB? we were literally at 250 two weeks ago. Nothing has changed in that time other than some market fuzz. BTC strong support at 55k and zCash just off an ATH. Patience. This has a lot more to give even in the short-term.
Buffett says if you don't feel comfortable owning a stock for 10 years, you shouldn't own it for 10 minutes. Good advice.
Nope I'm still holding . Fundamentals are the same short term there is Pluto April results may nasdaq listing . Then June there is additional hashrate which will mean we mine 250 BTC a mo th roughly assuming similar difficulty. Then there is the expected price increase of BTC for rest of the year and then next year is the big one with Texas opening . Thats what I am waiting for that is the pot of gold . All the rest is just noise hold your nerve if you want the big bucks
I had considered slicing 1/3 for a 20% loss if we reached 180p+ again after what happened on Friday but I believe things have changed and this isn't a spike. Still intending to slice a bit but not until I've broke even.
In the short term I don't expect big moves in bitcoin until after Friday's options expire. Might even wait until new bitcoin all time high in May to do my slice.
All in here and underwater, although starting to feel the warmth of the shallows. When I pass my avg I’m going to take my chances and hold all in, until news of NASDAQ. Steady the buff!
Iv seen quite a few of these drops and tbh everybody has got to learn to hold , it gets easier every time , it’s only a loss when you cash in and if you cashed in yesterday then big loss , tenner this everyone gla
Deej2: I'm massively down (entry points at £1.20, £2.40 & £2.80) and had to say, at first, I was really nervous when I saw the break of £2.00 and for a few minutes considered my position...
But then forced myself to take a step back and reconsider why I invested in the first place...I invested for the medium to long term (min 6 months) and nothing has changed massively (ignoring SP) as to why I would change my analysis...and feel so much more comfortable.
If you are in for the longer term, sit and hold with a smile but if you are trading, then might be a good time to cash out
I'm certainly in it for much much bigger returns and happy to wait for them
Dont sell Deej. £10 minimum this year
Anyone else finding it hard to keep the nerve and not use this rise to sell and limit the damage done last week? I'm heavily invested here, was under water, but can slowly see the surface and now struggling not to sell and be 'sensible' in case of another southerly move. It's a hard share to own, this!
