I believe in this business/industry and the potential for future growth (fin tech) but decided to sell today at a small loss and wait for the price to drop before buying back in again. I am also waiting for a little more certainty as to who is running the show and what their plan is for the future etc etc.
PS68. You must have had 2 posts at some point! JB sold his shares with a view to buying back later, surely I can do that also!!
Selling now is argueably a couragous thing to do.
I also took a view on the macro economy and the chances of a no deal Brexit.
""""""I believe but decided to sell""""
Hahaha you should sell last couple of days but not today.
Why?
Today is my time to buy not sell
DYOR
When selling is out I buy
Buy when sell is shouting
look at my KIER, last couple of days when selling shouted out at that time I Bought
Today is BOOOOOOM
@ckpshare Fair enough if you are getting out today, just when the SP looks like it is stabilising. You might well get back in cheaper over the next few weeks, it's pretty volatile although many of us think that this is around the current bottom, I think sub 10p is unlikely. But tell me this, if you are now out why do you feel the need to share your wisdom with the group and start a conversation now? I suspect your motivations are not benign.
Hey TM
I have no clue what the SP will do but if we do see sub 10p I've promised myself another 50k shares
So win win in my little brain :)
Did well selling as it starts to go up. Loads of AT buys just gone through at 11.5p and 11.6p.
Bad time to Sell! good luck..
Well... this hasn't aged well.
TwistMinkle. I have been reading this BB for several weeks and now seemed like a good time to offer an opinion, not that anyone should care. I am out for the moment but will be back in when the price offers me a better return for the current risk. If I am wrong no problems I have not lost out but I will see the gains once I see a clearer pathway to an entry point.
@ckpshare Fair enough, if I have misjudged you then my apologies. If you've been reading the BB for several weeks then you would absolutely understand the skepticism.
If you sold, does your Vote still count on AGM?
@mariog Probably not. Definitely not if before next Tuesday.
OK, that's why I can see this rising on the last time before voting. Now some are still playing with it. Later will vote to inflate the SP to 18-20p
PS68 It’s all relative!
PS68 That’s nice!
Mariog,
If you sold, does your Vote still count on AGM?
THERE WILL BE A “CUT OFF DATE: TO HOLD - To make votes count.
Not sure what that is. I voted already.
Out with the old, in with the new!
Putting you in the spot Figgy;
If you were a bookmaker what odds would you have on JB to win the vote?
@Mindtheramp How can anyone give odds when we don't know all the facts, it's like this:
“God does not play dice with the universe; He plays an ineffable game of His own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of any of the other players [i.e. everybody], to being involved in an obscure and complex variant of poker in a pitch-dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time.”
? Terry Pratchett
Right, I really am off out now. TTFN
PS68. FYI I am a genuine PI and have a strategy for Amigo! I decided to share that with this BB. However, I will now refrain from commenting and offering an opinion on this BB and sit on the sidelines as I have for the past several weeks. I personally think you are too emotionally involved in this company if you are so quick to knock other posters just because you don’t agree with their opinion.
MIND THE RAMP,
I’m not a betting man firstly, but to cut to the chase, (I know i go on a bit..)
I think the following:
Nayar and Lovering history - 95% OUT
Glen Crawshaw - 90% IN
JB - 70% IN
Others - 90% IN
Shake it all about :)
Remember all, Don’t feed the derampers. Just ignore them so silly threads don’t jump back to the top.
Mind the ramp, I agree with Twisty, can’t place odds, however JB throughout his career has started door to door, having done a spot working for a council you quickly work out what to do and what not to do to get results. JB tried one way and vote failed. He has found another and will not leave it to chance. It’s a game of chess to him. He’s placed the board in check, and they can’t take the threatening piece or move off, so they’ve done the only thing left, move a piece in between them and JB (Glen). JB will move again to a position in the vote where they can’t move Glen or fight back or move out of the way. CHECKMATE!
