On a slightly more positive note. We are on the main page of the British motor show 2020 under technology.

Well done DW, and others. Two days running!
BumbleB,
Early bird indeed.
I invested because I live only a few miles from an Akzonobel plant (Hull) and had read about a possible link with them and AFC to supply direct hydrogen from their factory.
At the time (and now) I thought that a fuel cell power system was a world energy winner.
I was working for the company about 10 years back and bought shares at 1.5 p. I've seen them get to 75p and all points up and down since. Call me an idiot but I decided to hold and hope i'm still around if/when sales take off. BTW i've long realised that this is the AIM and very risky. I soon came to understand you have to accept the games and sometimes illogical price movements. Sam
Wow, you were an early bird.
Bought in Afc either 2006 or 2007.
Had more hair, more teeth, better eyesight and now realise, more patience. Hopefully by end of year more money.
Yes bb I am aware, 4/11/08 is me. The tie up with AkzoNobel got me interested . Which again never came through, but I still hold and have added, also confident, but o so frustrated with certain aspects. Even desertwolfch is twitching lol.
I have been invested for 10 years Piller.
Pillar2post.....i agree with you 100%.....some day the frustration of SO NEAR YET SO FAR is getting the better of me especially because the wizard of oz does all the while is getting a fat salary and bonuses despite achieving a sweet f*** all....
I think what myself and by the looks a lot of other long term holders are doing is, airing our frustration on this board hoping that AFC read it. We are not trying to bring the price down, we are not shorting it and were not doubters. You need to of been in this share for at least 5+ years to understand . I was thinking it was just me having enough. Clearly not.
Sounds like Rolls Royce see a market for it. Maybe we could save them the Hassel and sell them ours??
Good idea klunk, I wouldn't mind seeing the manufactureing process either.
By time we will get to the Motor Show in august the wizard of OZ will have asked his secrets II a couple of millions more to build a lunar rover for NASA.....i sincerely hope that he is acting within the law with all these dodgy deals......Del Boy of OZ comes to mind.....
Maybe AFC need to show to the doubters that the innomech robot is flat out and not sitty idle ....upload a video to the new YouTube channel.
All he needs to do is to write an RNS or blog post saying:
"AFC is delighted to confirm the launch of the roadshow....
Rolec and Denora are excited to be the partners in this...
Customer interest has been very strong since the demo day, especially for the larger units...
We look forward to the production of the 160kw unit and confirm that we are on course to produce this by June 2020"
Job done, shorters at Share Muppets burned, shareholders happy, investor confidence restored etc.
Why isn't he just doing this, especially when we were told the roadshow would start in Q4 2019 and when it is clear that many shareholders are questioning the current strategy? Get on with it, AB.
I think that complaint was particularly valid around 2010-14 Rooky, and Bonds first year or so involved a lot of spinning to get money out of Lanstead. In the the past year, however, if you look at what has been said since the AGM, it has largely been delivered. The one thing I see no evidence for is the roadshow, though we know the charger is heading to Dundee at least. I don’t see yesterday’s announcement as kicking cans down the road. The technology is delivered, they now have to sell it. Yesterday as about broadening the appeal and profitability in a few years time.
Whilst it is right regarding long lead times to get new technology from inception to fully fledged products, I have to say that much of the 'moans' regarding the slowness of progress has been the fault of the company itself.
As it is excepted that the company boffins know far more than we do regarding this long time frame, remember that it was the company that for several years has been promising contracts round the corner with customers queuing up in such numbers that they would have to be almost a rationing to those numbers.
So if we are expected to believe that the technology is as good as they state, then it follows to reason that we would also be expected to believe the companies promises.
I have looked at previous RNS's where we have been encouraged to believe and on look back they can now be depressing.
I still have great belief in the technology, but not so much in the companies ability to get it to market. I believe they are very close, but still have niggley doubts that they can make that final step over the sales line.
That is because for compact units they need those high power units perfected.
Diesel replacement will not be ready until 2022 DW. It said on the launch presentation. Priority now is the ev Chargers.
Southerhay, I wouldn’t read too much into the 2 1m investors since there is previous history of Adam Bond and his HNW friends, he openly said at an AGM that they had made 40% on a previous placing, I suspect they have already made their profit and I doubt very much they are investors but traders more like, just like when Adam Bond made a big deal over Schroeders investing only to them see they had sold a percentage, these people are not seriously investing they are trying to make a quick buck.
Exactly Hasiba !
Do people honestly think the 2 recent £1m investors would have invested if they didn’t think this latest venture was a good move for AFC ? They would have been told upfront that part of their investment could go towards the Hiiroc project. Bigger picture!
Start talking this company up for a change. Sea ice is melting. We have massive problems ahead of us, so stop dissing AFC for your greed trying to drop the SP, it’s vile!
Morning all..
I am not sure why many here are so negative..
The market always value shares on their future prospect but not necessarily the present .
The mc of afc is not excessive for” jam tomorrow “ and they have come along way and sales will come or afc itself might be taken over as the hydrogen companies will undergo M&A .
We are investing in the future industry from its birth and the current technology facilitated this revolution for a cleaner energy that governments and people are involved to try and stop the catastrophic consequences of the dirty environment we are living in now.
The like of afc, itm, cwr ..etc are good examples of these industries for clean energy.
So why all this negativity..
Big institutional share ownerships interests in these companies and afc in particular has a huge institutional investors of big names are holders here.
I see these industries are going from strength to strength and not going to fold away as some here are trying to imply..
All the three shares above imo are still very cheap..and if you believe the market is almost always right then have no fear.
I hold both itm and big number in afc and good luck to all investors here.
