I can confirm that Aaron believes the market has indeed dropped.
I don't think Aaron knows very much Aim judging by his one dimensional posts. Maybe he's your alter ego?! Just a thought.
The odious Aaron returns to his usual theme. Never sees a problem with AFC as it goes lower and lower. I guess when you're not invested that's easy. A sad individual.
Let me guess, Garmoan is yacking on about "sack the CEO", "we were mislead", "Bond out!", "he made promises" blah blah blah?
How do you cope Aim, seeing your 1.7 million shares' value and associated profit being decimated? Maybe you've sold them hence the calm demeanor? Mind you I should've taken your advice and sold some weeks ago. Nearly did in the low 60s. Big regret now! I just hope AFC can get some commercial traction before we're back to £100 million or less MC. I know this is disruptive tech but it shouldn't take 15 years! Total incompetence if you ask me.
That's me done for this morning :) Will try check in later. Good day all!
Absolutely Aaron, quite agree. If you don't believe in the CEO or company, move your money to one you do believe in.
We all need to take responsibility for our own decisions. Bond has been consistent in his approach for years. Everyone knows what they're investing in. Or they haven't researched properly?
Easy for Aaron to say as he's not invested. It's absolutely legitimate to be angry having been given misleading information by the CEO as to the likely prospects of imminent commercial success, which then doesn't materialise and investing on the back of that reassurance.
So your options are clear. Sell and make a loss, or hold. Or, people in your position could come on here DAILY and repeat the same tripe.
Sadly I am also around 50% down (72 p- Purchase price of 50000 shares) which is pain to see half of the money just wiped out on paper and its still going further down and I am loosing my hopes that it will turn around.
It's clearly the market
It's not just the market Nick, it's AFC's inability to deliver on their own commercial pipeline. How long have they been talking about supplying Acciona and Julich with a fuel cell? A complete joke!
Yes it's been really disappointing that the market is down, but it'll bounce back
I know how you feel Idiot. Snag is Bond doesn't care one hoot as his fat salary is assured despite the woeful performance.
I'm now down -46%. Great job !!!
Poor old Bond, I mean with 50 inquiries he must be busier than a one toothed man at a corn on the cob eating competition….
Yes. I wouldn't be invested here if I didn't
It's not the company or CEO, it's the market, very clearly.
Rampers*
I would have left it to one or two posts had your little team of tampers not decided to call me a con man. Tbh I don’t really care what your opinion on the CEO is I’m here to voice mine and his overpromising is a massive issue for me, and clearly other investors. Good luck.
"AB credibility noone has to underpin anymore, it is simply gone, look at the shareprice and interest in AFC shares after fantastic news, no one, I mean no ONE believes AB anymore if he announces and kind of tomorrow jam.... There is nothing in his reputation towards the investment community which you can destroy, he did this perfectly himself. What a clown"
SPOT ON!!!
DW, you are now regularly using phrases like "Nobody believes that....", or "Everybody thinks that....". Can I just put my hand up and say I'm sorry but you don't speak for me so please tone it down a bit.
Bondy123 - I walked away from this board yesterday and quite frankly couldn’t be bothered to read the chaff.
What is striking though is that you seem to have an inordinate amount of spare time to berate the CEO and even your user name which has appeared all of a sudden, appears to suggest that you are hell bent on dragging down confidence in the CEO. I hope the FCA are monitoring your activities. Yes, you have every right to voice your opinion. To take over a board however shows your intent to destabilise genuine investors. You would have had more respect if you had posted one or 2 with your viewpoint. Now you are suggesting the CEO will squander £60m and thus attempt again to turn investors. This is a totally baseless comment and, as you know the CEO is one member of a much larger BoD. You seem to have missed that Bond was on LinkedIn yesterday saying that AFC are currently recruiting marine engineers. This further validates that the company is expanding and focused on their key business areas - EV charging, Data Centres, diesel genset replacement, maritime and rail transportation, drone airports.
Whilst we would ALL like to see better comms out of AFC (namely via a better website and updated blog), there is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE of funds being squandered or that the company is not heading in a positive commercial direction - otherwise our partners ABB, Extreme E, Acciona, Mace, Juelich, DeNora would have walked away months ago.
For me, this is the end of the discussion around the CEO’s position.
They are all from the same school.
Trying to work out who Bondy was previously. The same writing style of starting a post with a paragraph from an earlier poster in inverted commas before trying to counter the claims in an often desperate way, twisting the actual facts was used regularly by one former dereamper.......was it Bmac?
