what makes it worse is the SP is not being driven lower to fill buy orders, unless we see volume. So Oasis are not building upto 10%.
another bad day for this runt of a company?
agree with the anger and frustration, but what are Nissin getting out of it? 5 million in sales having bought 20% of the company for 63p/share 2 years ago. What kind of return is that?
If you-know-who's previous c.rap excuses about poor sales due to warm weather are anything to go by, we should be in for a stonkin' set of quarterly figures next time around. But then again...... How is this clown still in a job? Oh that's right. Nissin keep him there as their puppet
It really is shocking that the SP has not recovered, although 6 months after the rejection it did hit 57p. Any further stakebuilding by Nissin after this would have taken the SP beyond 65p. However that is now history and the worrying thing is other companies have in the past rejected takeovers and boy have they regretted it. In 21014 Mothercare rejected a 3 per share takeover, today their SP is 30p!!!
And he is still in his job.......f...k...g unbelievable
rolled his eyes at 65p offer promising us fake growth and better shareholder value........hmmmmm
Means it isn't getting better
and what does this actually mean
Each year Darby is CEO, this stock will drift lower. Hovis is doing well and may be sold this year, but cannot trust Darby to pay off debt with the returns. A massive danger that he will find a special project to ensure the money is wasted.
and it maybe Oasis topping upto 10%.
PF recover to 1 and you sell up, AA drop to 50p so you use the proceeds to jump in, after 6 months AA are 1. Then the alarm clock rings and you wake up!!!
Yes I have been following these for the last few weeks and thought about buying some last week, just as well I didn't. but could recover fast, but to what AA at a 1 of pfd at a 1. soon ?
I know this is not the AA BB, however, the point being made is if PF can recover you may be better off throwing your money into a stock which can really recover quicker than PF.
Cape Wrath tried this in July last year. They wrote an open letter to the board.....it didnt do any obvious good !!
Could you imagine if they also sold these things with less sugar - losing or rather neglecting quite a market out there Mr Darby - take your thumb out and do something about it
before at one time the sp was 185 p and now for almost 2 years 40p!! Something has gone wrong and is not being corrected. Has anyone actually contacted Darby and the Board to ask WTF? Perhaps everyone on this site should agree to send, by mail, a simple letter to Darby asking him that very question. As southcbubble says this could go to 20p........ So if someone wants to draft a simple 3 line paragraph let's all send it in unison so he gets the message
When the current CEO took over the reins at Premier the share price was in the 80p region, after 5 years of GD/s leadership we are in the low 40p region! Head must roll at PFD before we hit 20p, we just cannot continue with the current leadership (non leadership) of this company.
Can we all please fill up our trolley's this weekend :) http://www.premierfoods.co.uk/media/news-releases/Items/Free-the-joy-this-Easter-with-Cadbury-Cakes
Being kept low to perhaps fill limited buy orders. Don't think we have seen enough volume to suggest Oasis will get to 10% before June.
17 Nov 2016 - "I've been to several meetings on this particular subject, most of which have ended up in a feeling of great depression, where I think suicide was really the only logical step," Premier Foods CEO
Actually International sales are now significant. I have been sceptical in the past, however there are now often days when there are more trailers/containers shipping international orders from freeze and bakery than there are from the NDC at Rugby.
Are all ultra safe for everything and we should be making everyone around the world eat double. That would keep them happy healthy and as more profitable., what's wrong with that. It's all about perception !
