http://www.lngworldshipping.com/news/view,newage-taps-opportunity-in-african-flng_50093.htm NewAge LNG hopes to reach FID on up to two projects in 2018. The first is its proposed 1 mta project in Congo-Brazzaville, tapping gas associated with the Eni-operated upstream oil project involving NewAge and SNPC. NewAge subsidiary Congo-Brazzaville LNG (CBLNG) has secured government approval for the vessel and the offshore location and hopes to complete the fiscal arrangements shortly. If all goes to plan, Mr Lowden says, “we will be ready to go to FID before the end of 2018”, producing the first cargoes in 2022 or 2023. The second is in Cameroon, where NewAge is operator for the Etinde joint venture, which has rich gas and a development concession from the government that includes FLNG. This, too, may produce 1 mta of LNG. NewAge has completed the tender process for the vessel alongside the CBLNG tender process.
Interesting.........I agree, if true, then it's certainly of material interest to shareholders. I think the blame would lie with the old board and not COC though, it should have been divulged by an RNS. Don't think you could class it as insider trading. Why haven't we heard more about this?
http://georgiatoday.ge/news/6384/LUKoil-%26-LNG was received with much amusement in April this year. However ..... the authors must have got wind that something was up. So, negotiations took place early this year (agreements to start drilling don't just happen). Was this not of material interest to the shareholders? Should a RNS have been issued ? If Ccockup knew that permissions had been granted and continued to buy, might that be considered ixxxxxr txxxxxg??
In 2014 it sold stakes in Etinde to Cameroon’s New Age and Lukoil of Russia in a $250m deal. The buyers agreed to cover up to $40 million of Bowleven’s costs for two appraisal wells on Etinde. http://www.heraldscotland.com/business_hq/15770777.Bowleven_expects_to_resume_drilling_off_Africa_in_2018/
Get real, coc in control here
No the 40million is carry... if the drilling happens
How is it possible that I can currently buy at 28.6 and sell at 28.618 with HL?
Chantal for Chairperson ?? Can't be any greedier than the present lot and no delays to the project either.......
i am sure we get 40 million when the drill starts
Was there a mention of cash back to the shareholders as per the story they gave us last March? Thanks in advance
Finally timescales for etinde If they keep to these will be happy If they are on track q2 and the sp drops will double down
Looks dodgy to me... No independent board members now, just COC representatives left. Can only think this is a means for them to get full control prior to Entinde results but who really knows. Certainly not us PIs.
Just more delays, more disappointment and more nothing happening for another 12 months. This will lead to more unrest in sp and will no doubt result in a perfect storm for coc to grab any more shares. Everyone should remember they have all the intel at their disposal which we don’t have and will know exactly when to try and steal this company from under our noses. Vital important that we don’t let them, any offer must be way over £1.
Revolving doors here. Impossible to know why but assume that Crown and the CEO wanted to go in one direction and the Chairman had reservations for whatever reason but pure speculation on my part as we were not told. I thought the Chairman was a COC favoured appointee. If anyone who posts here attended the AGM, perhaps they would be good enough to say if there was any comment or unusual body language at the meeting today. A fair amount of sells again. I hope Crown know what they are doing but they have enough skin in the game to feel the pain if their actions to influence the Board do not bear fruit.
Wasn't expecting that, anybody suggest the reason?
Late closing trade 260k, sell?
i bet a very empty room ,,no one expected any news and then they put some out last minute so no questions and also , no late comers all clever work by coc
From the lack of postings, updates and share price movement I think we can assume that nothing of interest was said at the AGM to get the pulse racing.
But ... This is wonderful news in the context of what we've been patiently waiting for (all these years) And with the possibility of CockUp bagsying the assets before the drill hits the sea bed I'da thought there would be a bit more interest.... But what's a few more months .......
I wouldn't expect any movement until those at the AGM get a chance to react to the news and the way it was presented.
Some action at last. Not exactly reflected in the surging SP. Will this encourage CCockUp to make a move ????
I guess they have announced this in an RNS before the AGM because they consider it price sensitive information... LETS HOPE SO !! :-)
Well we're actually going to drill Etinde next year! That's something! Finally should see this get some attention and start moving in the right direction...
Here we go...
today ,wonder if anything will come out of it , or we will continue with the silence,,,
