31p something happening
30p + again
some nice buys going through
Well said. Similar sort of position to yourself. In a weird way the peeps looking out for us will be the ousted board. They have great knowledge of the minutia of company law so the slightest error on NewBod's part will have OustedBod breathing down their neck. Mr King of Rangers fell foul of the 30% rule and is in court for that ... ""The Court of Session heard today how King allegedly knew that legislation dictated that entrepreneurs who hold a 30 per cent stake in businesses are compelled to make a takeover offer"" Perhaps NewBod could put the majority of our cash reserves into escrow to pay for development cost ....... that would stop any thoughts of a****t s*******g Just can't understand why the news of appraisal drilling hasn't attracted investors. We've been waiting for this news for years and it's just been ignored .... Gas is the fuel of the future and 20% of a ""large""" gas field going cheap must surely be on somebody's radar.....
No cannot say I’d be happy with 40p, been here years and sat on av of 72p so not really. We don’t really want any sale before any fid’s or drill proof of further deposits, but recon that may be a pipe dream. Any sale before any of these milestones is going to sell us short, massively so.
Crown will be acutely aware that they must stop at 29.9% otherwise they must make an offer under Rule 9. If they did have a spare £100m to justfiy say a 30% premium offer, I am not personally convinced they would get sufficient acceptances to get across the line. I would not be happy with 40p, would you? So, I think they are trying everything to unlock what we all see is quite a bit of value here although management , so far, can't seem to find they key! Here's hoping that the latest line-up deliver in 2018. I will continue to sit on my hands for another 6 months at least.
What is exactly cocc’s aim 1. To reach 30% and to buy out at lowest price, but do they have enough capital 2. To exceed 30% and just buy as much as they can for sale day and have a controlling share 3. To exceed 30% and genuinely ride the wave and have other shareholders interests at heart. This is the puzzle we look forward to in 2018. I’m not sure 3 is applicable as money is involved and they are only in it for themselves, that is just simple logic. Who knows, good luck to them but let’s just hope we all don’t get sailed down the river on some bullshit backdoor agreement that sells us out in a scheme where we all moan about it being illegal but we can do nothing about. For once let us hope we see fair value. Merry Christmas
make that 2
looks like another big buy at the end ,rns due i think 29% or more hit
2 big buys , coc keen to get more before new year ,,,?
Patience is required in spades here with this share winning the prize for the least exciting share in my portfolio in 2017 by a long way! Now, I have reason to be optimistic still but would not be critical of those who have bailed out to pastures new. The new team put in place by Crown need to step up to the plate in 2018 otherwise more revolving doors. Come on let's give long suffering investors something to cheer about next year and deliver some shareholder value.
the sad fact is the rest of the stock market is shooting up I think this has been a major factor in the sell of blvn ( drip drip down!!) however once we get closer to revenue the sp could rocket so will hold trebled down average 37p still hope for a good return in 18 months
With drilling starting in Q2 18 (honest guv, a lovely used drillship, only 200000 km on the clock, you can trust Daley Drillships...) and Ccockup poss making a move before then, in my rose-tinted world the only way is up. Surprised the SP hasn't risen since the drilling was announced.... Maybe we have such a bad name that the BigBoys want to see gas flaring as we prove up more HCs, before they invest.....
Never say die, have held this since it was up in the £4 bracket, now average 61p, will it ever get back to even 60p never mind what seems an eye watering £x+ with the current lot, I know it's my decision ultimately and only have 20000 shares , so cut and run, stay and possibly die in the water?
DD77 - difficult to argue with that assessment.
Bonomo is worthless to BLVN, so would not care if the deal fell through. It's worth far more to VOG. The terms that Kevin signed were extremely unfavourable to BLVN, a desperate last act to try and saviour his position, when in fact his legacy is giving away an asset (albeit one which wasn't as promising as first hoped) for next to nowt. Etinde is the only play for BLVN, nothing else is really of relevance now.
BLVN will always be a what if share, Possibly the biggest mistake I have made with regards to investments, I decided to jump ship @26p with a £90k loss however thankfully Crypto has made me back those losses.
SP dropping. Good time to switch to VOG.
deadline approaching. no news here. oh, dear.
any one no how much the new bosses are on now ? not much is going on
well finally looks like things are going to happen in 2018 n/a or coc no real need to keep us updated but will not be able to keep sp down when revenues start!!! can see a gradual increase in sp in 2018 as investors realise its really worth holding till dec 2018
Article in Rigzone https://www.rigzone.com/news/wire/new_africa_gas_comes_at_right_time_for_europe_in_supply_woes-15-dec-2017-152830-article/ Kribi is about 150 Km from Etinde. We're much nearer to Equ. Guinea. At least CamGov must be playing ball for NA to be powering ahead with the project. I wonder if we'll ever get a stream of divis or will we be gobbled up by Ccockup before then ??
http://www.lngworldshipping.com/news/view,newage-taps-opportunity-in-african-flng_50093.htm NewAge LNG hopes to reach FID on up to two projects in 2018. The first is its proposed 1 mta project in Congo-Brazzaville, tapping gas associated with the Eni-operated upstream oil project involving NewAge and SNPC. NewAge subsidiary Congo-Brazzaville LNG (CBLNG) has secured government approval for the vessel and the offshore location and hopes to complete the fiscal arrangements shortly. If all goes to plan, Mr Lowden says, “we will be ready to go to FID before the end of 2018”, producing the first cargoes in 2022 or 2023. The second is in Cameroon, where NewAge is operator for the Etinde joint venture, which has rich gas and a development concession from the government that includes FLNG. This, too, may produce 1 mta of LNG. NewAge has completed the tender process for the vessel alongside the CBLNG tender process.
Interesting.........I agree, if true, then it's certainly of material interest to shareholders. I think the blame would lie with the old board and not COC though, it should have been divulged by an RNS. Don't think you could class it as insider trading. Why haven't we heard more about this?
