Torex Retail PLC17 May 2007 Torex Retail Plc("Torex" or "the Group") Review of strategic options The Board announced on 30 March 2007 that it had appointed JefferiesInternational Ltd. to advise it on a review of a range of strategic options forthe business, including the possible sale of the Group. The Board now confirms that it has received significant expressions of interestfor the Group. The review process is ongoing and further updates will be issued as and whenappropriate.
