Lenta Announces Change in Custodian for GDR Programme
St. Petersburg, Russia, 22 December 2020: Lenta PLC (MOEX & LSE: LNTA), one of the largest retail chains in Russia, today announces a change of custodian (the "Custodian") in connection with its global depositary receipt ("GDR") programme (the "GDR Programme"). In anticipation of the previously announced re-domiciliation of Lenta from the Republic of Cyprus to the Russian Federation, Deutsche Custody NV has been replaced as Custodian, effective today 22 December 2020, by AO Raiffeisenbank, a company organised under Russian law, with its principal office located at: 17 building 1, Troitskaya Street, Moscow, 129090, Russian Federation.
In accordance with clause 3.1 of the amended and restated deposit agreement dated 28 January 2020 relating to the GDR Programme and the terms and conditions of the GDRs, notice of the change in Custodian is being given to holders of GDRs (as well as notice of a related amendment to the deposit agreement to implement that change).
In accordance with Listing Rule 14.3.6, an electronic copy of this announcement has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.
