Subject: MATERIAL INFORMATION -ISSUANCE OF BONUS SHARES BY MARI PETROLEUM COMPANY LIMITED
Dear Sir,
In accordance with section 15D of the Securities & Exchange Ordinance, 1969 and Clause 5.19.13(c) (Code of Corporate Governance) of the Rule Book of the Exchange, this is informed that shareholders of Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) in their 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on October 18, 2018 have approved allotment of 10% bonus shares for every ten shares held (i.e 10%).
2. Therefore the present number of shares of MPCL held by OGDCL has increased from 21,866,250 shares to 24,052,578 shares after addition of recently issued 2,186,625 bonus shares.
