IQE PLC18 April 2005 IQE plc ("the Company") Additional Listing Application has today been made to the London Stock Exchange for 41,987 ordinaryshares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to tradingon AIM. These Ordinary Shares are being issued to satisfy payment of anon-executive director's fees for the first quarter of 2005. The non-executivedirector does not have an interest in the shares being issued.
