White Young Green PLC25 January 2007 LETTER TO: WHITE YOUNG GREEN PLC 23 January 2007 NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS) IN SHARES UNDER SECTION 198 COMPANIES ACT 1985 ("THE ACT") WHITE YOUNG GREEN This notification supersedes any previous notification from AXA InvestmentManagers UK Ltd. We are writing on behalf of AXA S.A. of 25 Avenue Matignon, 75008 Paris and itsGroup Companies who are deemed to have an interest in these shares. AXA S.A. knows that they were interested in 4,583,244 Ord in the 47,628,506share capital immediately after the time when the obligation of disclosure arosepursuant to section 198 of the Act. These shares are represented by abeneficial interest of 1,616,495 shares (3.39%), and a non-beneficial interestof 2,966,749 shares (6.23%). The identity of each registered holder of the shares to which this noticerelates, so far as is known to AXA Investment Managers UK Ltd, as at 19/01/07,is as per the attached Appendix. This notification of change is due to an increase in the beneficial interestholding from 0.24% to 3.39%.
