Senior Management Appointment

Former Siemens and EWT Executive, Birol Yosul, appointed VP of European Sales

Windar Photonics plc (AIM: WPHO), the technology group behind the LiDAR-assisted monitoring and optimisation solution for multiple wind turbine platforms, is pleased to announce the appointment Birol Yosul as Vice President of Sales for Europe, with effect from 1 September 2025.

Birol is a highly respected sales leader with over 15 years of international experience in the wind energy sector. He brings a proven track record in business development, deep industry insight, and an extensive professional network. His previous senior roles include leadership positions at Siemens, where he worked as Technical Sales Manager, as well as Operations Manager Service Offshore Wind Power, before going on to work at Bureau Veritas, the specialist infrastructure testing, inspection and certification company. Most recently, Birol has worked as Director of Sales & Business Development for Europe at Emergya Wind Technologies B.V.

In addition to the appointment of Birol, the Company has identified a new Vice President of Sales for the Americas, which will be confirmed and announced shortly. Both appointments demonstrate the ambition to strengthen the Company's presence and reach across international markets.
