Weir Group PLC21 March 2006 Press release | The Weir Group PLC 21 March 2006 Weir Group announces appointment of Group Finance Director The Weir Group PLC announces the appointment of Keith Cochrane (41) to theposition of group finance director. Keith will join at the beginning of July2006 when he will take over from Chris Rickard. Currently group director of finance of Scottish Power plc, he was previouslyfinance director and then chief executive of Stagecoach Group plc. He qualifiedas a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen. Weir Group chairman, Sir Robert Smith, said "Keith Cochrane comes to Weir withthe extensive experience required as we continue with our programme to achieveworld class standards across the Group and grow shareholder value."
