VietNam Holding Limited Investor Presentation - Happening This Week
VietNam Holding Limited ('VNH' or the 'Company'), the London listed fund investing in Vietnamese equities, is pleased to announce that Dynam Capital, the fund manager of VNH, will be hosting a live online investor presentation on Wednesday, 13 December 2023 at 10 AM UK time.
The presentation is open to all, and the Company welcomes the interaction with shareholders. It will be designed to provide a greater understanding of Vietnam's economic progress, the strategy of the fund, its investment processes, its ESG approach, performance and the outlook for 2024. The webinar will also allow for questions regarding the upcoming AGM.
VNH invests in high-growth companies in Vietnam, focusing on domestic consumption, industrialisation, and urbanisation. Launched in 2006, VNH is a closed-end fund listed on the London Stock Exchange. The Fund provides investors with an attractive opportunity to participate in the exciting development of one of the world's most promising frontier markets.
Despite market turbulence, the focused, nimble and active management of the Investment Manager have led to a significant relative outperformance against the market as a whole, as well as most of its peers. In recognition of this, VNH was awarded the "Best Emerging Market Single Country trust" at the Citywire Investment Trust Awards 2023.
VNH has convened an annual general meeting and an extraordinary general meeting for 21 December 2023 in Paris. The AGM will include the trust's five-yearly continuation vote, which the board asks shareholders to approve. Linked to this, the board has proposed an annual redemption facility, which will be voted upon at the EGM. The redemption facility is aimed at narrowing further the discount of the company's share price to net asset value.
