Notice of AGM and Publication of Annual Report and Accounts

Volex plc (AIM:VLX), the leading integrated manufacturing specialist for performance-critical applications and supplier of power products, is pleased to announce the publication of its Notice of Annual General Meeting ('AGM') for 2020 and its Annual Report and Accounts for the 2020 financial year. Both documents are now available on the Company's website at www.volex.com on the Shareholder Information page in the Investor Relations section and will be posted today to shareholders who have elected to receive them in hard copy.

The Company's AGM will take place at 11 am on Thursday 30 July 2020, at its registered office at Unit C1, Bond Close, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG24 8PZ. However, as detailed in the Notice of AGM, due to the continuing restrictions in place as a result of Covid-19 and in order to ensure the safety of attendees, it will not be possible to hold the meeting in the usual format, and the Company is requesting that neither shareholders nor proxies attend the meeting in person.

However, the Board is still keen to engage with shareholders and receive their feedback, and they will be able to contact the Company with any questions or comments ahead of the meeting through a dedicated communication channel and are encouraged to exercise their right to vote on the proposed resolutions by naming the Chairman of the Meeting as their proxy.
