Director/PDMR Shareholding
Volex plc, a global provider of power and data-cabling solutions, announces that Daren Morris, Chief Financial Officer, asked the Company to notify the Volex Group plc Employees' Share Trust (the "Trust") that he wished to exercise a proportion of the share awards that had recently vested under the rules of the 2009 Volex plc Performance Share Plan and immediately sell the acquired shares.
Following receipt of this notification, on Friday 26 April 2019 and Monday 29 April 2019, the Trust sold 174,147 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence on Mr Morris's behalf at an average price of 92.6 pence per share.
Separately, Mr Morris purchased 16,937 Ordinary Shares on 30 April 2019 at a price of 93.2 pence, increasing his holding of 483,063 Ordinary Shares in the Company to 500,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.34% of its ordinary issued share capital.
This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Article 19(3) of the EU Market Abuse Regulation No 596/2014.
