Director PDMR Shareholding

Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on 18 February 2013, Karen Slatford, Deputy Chairman, purchased 30,000 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25, at a price of 99 pence.

The purchase represents 0.05% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mrs Slatford holds a total of 30,000 ordinary shares of Volex plc, representing in aggregate 0.05% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
