Director PDMR Shareholding

Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on 18 September 2012, Mike McTighe, Chairman, purchased 10,000 ordinary shares of the Company, par value £0.25 ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 187 pence and Ray Walsh, Chief Executive Officer, purchased 7,500 Ordinary Shares of the Company, at a price of 187 pence.

For Mr McTighe this purchase represents 0.016% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mr McTighe now holds a total of 117,000 ordinary shares of Volex plc, representing in aggregate 0.19% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

For Mr Walsh this purchase represents 0.012% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mr Walsh now holds a total of 74,500 Ordinary Shares of Volex plc, representing in aggregate 0.12% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.
