Umeco plc announces the following changes to the interests of Directors & PDMRs in 25 pence ordinary shares. On 19th June 2012 the 2009 deferred share awards made under the Umeco Bonus Plan to Andrew Moss and Steve Bowers matured.

Under the terms of deferred share awards, the Director/PDMR becomes the legal and beneficial owner of the shares but on terms that they must, in normal circumstances, be retained for a period of three years and may, in certain circumstances, be forfeited for no payment if the employment of the Director/PDMR ends within that period. Those terms would cease to apply upon Court approval of the offer for the entire issued share capital of Umeco plc made by Cytec UK Holdings Limited that was announced on 12 April 2012.
