Total voting rights and termination of purchase of shares
On 20 June 2012, Development Securities PLC (the "Company") announced its intention to purchase up to 170,000 ordinary shares in the Company between 20 June 2012 and 1 July 2012.
The Company can confirm that it purchased 123,397 ordinary shares during this period. Following this change, the Company's total issued share capital is 122,352,504 ordinary shares, of which 123,397 are held as Treasury Shares; leaving a balance of 122,229,107 shares with voting rights. This figure 122,229,107 represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
