Capital Markets Day

U+I (LSE:UAI), the specialist regeneration developer and investor, announces that it is hosting a capital markets presentation for analysts and investors this afternoon, which will disclose some new detail and targets. The presentation materials will be available on the Company's website (www.uandiplc.com) following the event.

U+I will give a presentation on the business case and the next stage of its strategy, followed by tours of three of its London schemes.

Management will talk through progress with its optimisation programme and targets for business efficiency over the next three years, demonstrating a timetable to deliver its 12% post tax total return target.

The capital markets day will include the following information:

·; Delivery from existing pipeline (fewer, larger projects): U+I will define phase one of its strategy, executed from merger to date, securing a pipeline increase from £2.1 billion in 2015 to £11 billion GDV of projects in FY19. This delivery of secured projects will in turn support a planned growth of development management fees to c.£6.5 million per annum by FY22 (FY19: £2.5 million per annum; FY16: £0.7 million per annum).

·; Transition of the investment portfolio: The presentation will include details of how U+I is advancing its strategy to transfer its own high quality development assets into its investment portfolio to generate superior rental and capital growth and meet U+I's 10% per annum return target. This will reduce U+I's retail exposure in favour of more in demand sectors and concentrate the portfolio on the high growth geographic regions it targets.

·; Operational improvement: Phase 2 of the business plan will be presented articulating a programme of business optimisation with c.£1.0 million reduction in annualised overhead achieved in the first half of 2019 and a clear plan to deliver a further c.£3.0 million of annualised savings within three years to FY22.

U+I will publish its interim results on 20 November 2019 when it will give an update on its financial performance for the six months ended 30 September 2019.
