Appointment of Managing Director
Corac is pleased to announce that Mark Crawford will take on the role of Group Managing Director with immediate effect. Mark will now assume responsibility for the day to day management of the Group, whilst also retaining the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Mark's new role will provide the Company with operational leadership to focus on the successful delivery, commercialisation and administration of its strategy to realise stakeholder value. He will be supported by the management team established in 2010.
Mark will resign his role as Company Secretary with immediate effect and will be replaced by Stephen Harrow, Head of Finance.
Phil Cartmell will continue in the role of Executive Chairman focusing on Group strategy and managing external relationships.
Phil Cartmell, Executive Chairman, on behalf of the Board stated:
"Mark has demonstrated great drive and leadership in supporting the Company and its stakeholders since he joined the business in October 2009. The Board is delighted that Mark has agreed to take on this new role at a time when we are broadening the platform of commercial opportunities in order to build a strong business future for Corac."
