The Mission Marketing Group plc ("themission®" or the "Company"), the national marketing communications and advertising group, announces the appointment to the Board of Peter Fitzwilliam as Finance Director with immediate effect. Peter, a Chartered Accountant, first became involved with the Company in November last year as a consultant, to strengthen the Company's cash management activities and assist its refinancing. On the successful completion of the refinancing in April this year, he took on the role of interim CFO and we are pleased to now welcome him to the Board.

The Company also announces that Nick Bacon has decided to step down from the Board as non-executive Director to develop his other interests. He retains a consultancy arrangement with Bray Leino. Nick commented: "Having helped to achieve the reorganisation and refocusing of the group on existing operations rather than acquisitions, I feel that now is an appropriate time for me to step down from the Board. I will continue to support and develop key initiatives within Bray Leino but I am happy to leave themission in the capable hands of the new Board." The Board would like to thank Nick for his contribution over the last three years and wishes him well in his future ventures.
