Significant new customer

The Board of Digital Barriers plc (the "Group"), the specialist provider of advanced surveillance technologies to the security and defence sectors, is pleased to announce that it has deployed its fully integrated Unattended Ground Sensor ("UGS") solution with a new government customer in a major African country to protect a critical and high-profile government location.

With the success of this deployment, part of a sale valued at approximately £300,000, this customer has approved a procurement for the protection of two additional locations, expected to be valued at a further £1.2 million and to be delivered this financial year.

The Group expects additional material sales into this country for its TVI video and RDC ground sensor solutions, which together comprise the Group's Integrated Surveillance Platform, for the protection of sensitive border locations, military facilities and vulnerable oil pipelines.
