Share Options

Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc ("Symphony", "Company" or "the Group"), the environmental plastics and waste-to-value group, announces that it has granted share options to the non-executive directors of the Company.

A total of 750,000 options over the Company's ordinary 1p shares have been granted and allocated as to 250,000 each for Nirj Deva, Hugo Swire and Nicolas Clavel.

The options granted are exercisable at any time after 18 December 2010 and before 18 December 2019. The exercise price is 9.875p per ordinary 1p share, being the mid market price on 18 December 2009.

The Board of Symphony believes the options provide an incentive to the non- executive team to assist in the growth of the Group whilst at the same time providing compensation for shortfalls in their past remuneration. 

The Board does not expect to grant any further options to non-executive directors of the Company in the future.
