Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

ServicePower Technologies Plc (AIM: SVR), a market leader in field management, is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Marne Martin as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect. For the period between 7 January 2013 - 28 February 2013 Ms. Martin will act alongside the existing CFO to effect an orderly handover. Ms. Martin will be based in the U.S.

Ms. Martin has a strong background in corporate and global finance execution. Most recently, Ms. Martin was CFO of AIM listed Norcon plc, a UK based telecommunications and defense consulting company, leading the company's IPO on AIM in 2008 and successfully completing primary and secondary share placements in 2009 and 2010. Prior to her position at Norcon, Ms. Martin held various positions, including President, at East West Resources Corporation from 1996 to 2007, a private equity company whose portfolio included domestic and international businesses in diverse industries. From 2000 to 2006, Ms. Martin was President of Digicel Holdings Ltd, a $60m telecommunications firm and East West affiliate, at which she lead the acquisition of licenses, launched operations in El Salvador, recruited executive management team and oversaw operations rollout and launch.

Marne Elizabeth Martin (aged 38)currently holds, and has during the last five years immediately preceding the date of this announcement held, the following directorships or partnerships:

Marne was a director of Atlantic Pacific Cellular, which was an investment company in the Cayman Islands, when it was placed into voluntary liquidation on 30.11.07 when the company was no longer required, with no outstanding liabilities to creditors or shareholders.

There are no other matters which are required to be announced as required under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
