Pre Close Trading Update

STV Group plc today issues a pre close trading update for the period 27 August 2015 to 21 December 2015, ahead of its 2015 full year results announcement on 25 February 2015.

It is confirmed that earnings are in line with the Board's expectations. A full update of performance against KPIs will be provided in the full year results statement in February 2016.

It is announced today that an enhanced digital news service will be launched in February 2016. This service, which will sit within the STV Family of consumer services, will strengthen STV's position as the provider of the most popular commercial digital news service in Scotland. The enhanced service will replace STV's existing digital news services.
