St. James's Place plc is pleased to announce the appointment of John Hitchins as an Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 November 2021.

John is currently a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee of Aldermore Group PLC, Senior Independent non-executive director and chair of the audit committee of Société Générale International Limited and Senior Adviser to the Financial Reporting Council.

Paul Manduca, Chair of St. James's Place plc, said: "I am delighted that John has agreed to join the Board of St. James's Place plc. He will bring to the Board a deep knowledge of the financial services sector, audit and financial reporting, as well as a wealth of experience as a non-executive director".

There is no other information regarding John Hitchins' appointment to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
