SCISYS PLC ('SCISYS', the 'Group' or the 'Company'), the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT-based solutions, announces that on 22 October 2018, certain Directors of the Company each purchased ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of Company ("Ordinary Shares"), which Ordinary Shares the Company was holding as treasury shares, at a price of £1.494 pence per Ordinary Share (being the average closing mid-price of an Ordinary Share over the five days up to and including 22 October) (the "Transaction") as detailed below:

This is not a related party transaction pursuant to AIM Rule 13 of the AIM Rules for Companies However, the independent Directors have agreed to the terms of the Transaction as this will result in the realisation of value in respect of these shares by the Company.
Following the Transaction, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 29,577,158 (with no Ordinary Shares held in treasury). This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company.
