Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited - Notice to Shareholders
The Board of Dawnay, Day Sirius Ltd ("DDS") wants to take this opportunity to respond to recent press reports surrounding the Dawnay, Day Group.
The Board of DDS would like to remind Shareholders that DDS is a separate legal entity, resident in Guernsey and controlled by an independent board of directors, four out of five of whom are independent from its Asset Manager, Dawnay, Day Sirius Real Estate Asset Management Ltd.
The Company has received assurances from its Asset Manager that the Asset Manager is solvent and is capable of continuing to perform its duties under the asset management agreement.
The Asset Manager has also confirmed that DDS continues to hold title to its property assets directly, and continues to have safe custody over all its assets and that the funding structure of DDS is wholly independent of the Dawnay, Day Group.
The DDS investment strategy remains unchanged which is to invest in large mixed use commercial sites for upgrading to flexible workspaces in Germany.
The Board of DDS will closely monitor the situation and keep shareholders informed.
