Directorate Changes

IQ Holdings plc ("IQ Holdings" or the "Company"), the specialist business research company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Oliver Mitchel, aged 41, as Finance Director with immediate effect. 

John brings with him a demonstrable track record and a wealth of experience. He joined Touche Ross in 1988 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991. After leaving Touche Ross in 1992, John spent 10 years working for large companies including Honda (U.K.) and the BBC in Finance Managerial roles. 

In 2001 John was appointed as International Financial Controller for Paramount Home Entertainment International Limited and more recently he has worked for two large media companies as Group Financial Controller. One of these companies was Media Square plc, the AIM listed International Media, Advertising and Marketing Services Group, from which IQ Holdings recently acquired Viewpoint Field, Viewpoint Studios and The Wire. At Media Square John was responsible for the set up of the London Group Finance Department, including the integration of 22 acquired companies.    

In September 2008 John joined IQ Holdings plc where his responsibilities covered all financial matters for the research group, including overseeing the production of the accounts and negotiations with finance providers. As part of John's duties he controlled the production of Company forecasts for the purposes of the Media Square plc acquisition.

Mr. Mitchel holds no other directorships or partnerships, and has held no directorships or partnerships in the previous five years.

The Company confirms there is no other information that falls to be disclosed under Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.

The Company also announces that on the appointment of Mr. Mitchel, Mr. Peter Parkinson has resigned as Interim Finance Director and Mr. Neil McGowan has changed role from Finance Director to Non-Executive Director of the Company.
