The directors of Avisen ("the Board"), the AIM-quoted technology consultancy specialising in performance management, are pleased to announce that Mark Battles has been appointed as Interim Non-Executive Chairman of the Company and will join the Board with immediate effect.

Mr. Battles is a Chartered Accountant and has a wealth of experience gained from over 20 years working in the technology sector. As Managing Partner of Balgownie Ventures for the past eight years, Mark has provided consultancy services to the media and technology sectors including capital raising for early stage technology, media and telecommunications companies. 

The Company would also like to announce that Claire Milverton, previously Interim CFO, has agreed to take on the role on a permanent basis with immediate effect.

Commenting on the appointment, Marcus Hanke, CEO of Avisen said: "We are delighted to welcome Mark to the Board as Non-Executive Chairman. We believe his experience and knowledge will fit well with our strategy and his appointment will be of significant benefit to the Company as we seek to implement both our short and long term growth strategies.
