Charitable Contribution

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (KS005930, KS005935, SMSN, SMSD) ("SEC") on October 30, 2025, announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the following contributions.

Donations to the Federation of Korean Industries

 - KRW 1.85 billion to the Federation of Korean Industries

 - The amounts listed above will be paid in November 2025

Contribution to the Ho-Am Foundation (the "Foundation")

 - Samsung will contribute KRW 3.79 billion to the Foundation to be used for its presentation of the

Samsung Ho-Am Prizes in the following six fields:

∙ Physics/Mathematics,

∙ Chemistry/Biology,

∙ Engineering,

∙ Medicine,

∙ Art, and

∙ Volunteering

Contribution to the Korea Association of Athletics Federation (the "Federation")

 - Samsung will contribute KRW 1.15 billion to the Federation to be used for hosting and participating

in domestic and overseas competitions, as well as for domestic and overseas training.

Donations to Other Foundations and Educational Organizations

 - KRW 22.29 billion to Samsung Life Public Welfare Foundation

 - KRW 13.68 billion to Sungkyunkwan University

 - The amounts listed above will be paid within the calendar year 2025

* Note: Pursuant to the Korea Fair Trade Act, a donor is required to disclose its donation to charitable organizations if such donation amount exceeds KRW 10 billion and the recipient is an affiliated entity of the donor.
