Symphony International Holdings Limited announces dividend payment

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Symphony International Holdings Limited (the "Company" or "Symphony") is pleased to declare an ordinary dividend payment of US 2.50 cents per share (taking into account the total shares outstanding at the date of this announcement) amounting to approximately US$12.8 million.

The Board is declaring this dividend having considered its dividend policy in light of divestments, dividends received from investee companies and the Company's liquidity.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Board intends to pay ordinary dividends annually and extraordinary dividends as and when the Board feels it would be appropriate to do so. Extraordinary dividends, will be one-off in nature and if paid in the future, will depend on various factors including but not limited to excess liquidity and divestments.

Including the dividend in this announcement, Symphony will have cumulatively returned US$329.4 million through a combination of cash dividends and share buybacks since 2014.

Georges Gagnebin, Chairman of Symphony said:

"We are pleased to announce that Symphony is now able to resume dividend payments to shareholders following recent partial and full realizations which have provided the necessary liquidity. While we faced unprecedented challenges in the past few years and there will, undoubtedly, be some challenges ahead, we remain optimistic about our portfolio and intend to continue to try and provide returns to our shareholders by way of dividends or otherwise in the years to come.
