Change in Directorships

Symphony International Holdings Limited (LSE: SIHL) announces that, effective 27 November 2019, Mr. Pierangelo Battista Bottinelli retired from his position as Chairman and an Independent Director of the Company. He will, however, continue to support Symphony in a new appointment as Chairman Emeritus. At the same time, Mr. Georges Gagnebin, an Independent Director of the Company, was appointed to the position of Chairman of Symphony. The Company is pleased to also announce the appointment of Mr. Oliviero Roger Bottinelli as a new Independent Director on the same date.

Mr. Pierangelo Bottinelli has been an Independent Director of the Company since December 2005. During his tenure as Chairman, Mr Bottinelli has provided invaluable advice and direction, which has helped position Symphony for continued growth and value creation for years to come.

The newly appointed Chairman, Mr. Gagnebin, joined Symphony as an Independent Director in July 2007. Mr. Gagnebin has more than 50 years of experience in banking and private wealth management and is currently the Chairman of the Board of Pâris Bertrand (Europe) S.A., Luxembourg and Pâris Bertrand S.A., Geneva. Mr. Gagnebin is an extremely capable successor who will provide strong leadership to Symphony.

Mr. Oliviero Bottinelli will bring, as a new Independent Director, extensive experience in investments and the luxury sector. Mr. Bottinelli currently overseas Imagine Capital Limited, a private family office overseeing investments in Asia and Europe. He also serves on the Board of Audemars Piguet. Prior roles include the Chief Executive Officer of Audemars Piguet Asia Pacific and an Executive at BP de Silva. Mr. Bottinelli graduated (magna cum laude) from the Business School of Lausanne with a degree in Business Administration.

Anil Thadani, Chairman of Symphony Asia Holdings Pte. Ltd. and a Director of Symphony, said: "Pierre has been a great mentor and confidant to me and the rest of the Symphony team.
