Trading Update

Share plc, which operates The Share Centre Limited, a leading independent UK stockbroker, is pleased to provide a trading update for the financial year ending 31 December 2017.

Further to the AGM Statement issued on 7 June 2017, after a record first quarter, trading has remained strong and, as a result, the Board now expects that sales and profitability for the first six months of the current financial year will be significantly ahead of its expectations. Half year results to 30 June 2017 will be published on 9 August 2017, as previously reported, at which time the Board will provide a further update on trading. 

Buoyant trading has been supported by the commencement in the second quarter of services to Computershare, one of the UK's leading share registrars and the largest registrar globally, as well as the successful migration of investment trust accounts from Invesco to The Share Centre Limited, with approximately 95% of the transferring accounts retained.
