Rights Issue Update

Extension to RMB Corporate Facility

Scotgold Resources Limited ("Scotgold Resources" or the "Company") (ASX:SGZ AIM:SGZ) is pleased to announce an update regarding an extension to its Corporate Facility with RMB Australia Holdings Ltd (RMB).

Further to the statement in the Offer Document which was dispatched to shareholders on 6 December regarding the RMB Resources loan, RMB Resources Limited, a division of Firstrand Bank Limited (London Branch) has received approval from its investment committee for the term of the corporate facility provided by RMB Australia Holdings Limited to be extended, conditional upon the cash balance being adequate to meet three months working capital for the duration of the extension.

Letter to holders on ASX register resident in UK

A letter has been sent to ASX shareholders whose registered address is in the UK setting out instructions should the shareholder wish to participate in the placement and settle their subscription in STERLING.

Sterling settlement arrangements for DI holders on AIM register

A further instruction has been sent to DI holders setting out to brokers the CREST instructions and details of sterling settlement.

Extension of Closing Date for Rights Issue

The closing date for the rights issue has been extended to 31 December 2013.
