Seeing Machines Limited (AIM: SEE, "Seeing Machines" or the "Group"), the advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI-powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, is pleased to announce it has appointed Kate Hill as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Seeing Machines also announces that Jim Walker, a non-executive director, is to leave the Group.

Kate is a non-executive director of CountPlus Limited (ASX: CUP), where she is the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Acquisitions Committee. She is also a non-executive director of Elmo Software Limited (ASX: ELO) where she serves as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and is a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee. She has worked extensively in regulated environments including assisting with Initial Public Offerings, capital raising and general compliance, as well as operating in an audit environment. She held a variety of leadership and executive roles in Deloitte and was the first woman appointed to the Board of Partners of the Australian firm.

Kate will Chair the Group's Risk, Audit & Finance Committee.

Jim Walker, who is Chair of the People, Culture & Remuneration Committee, is leaving the Group after four years in order to meet increased board commitments elsewhere.

Jack Boyer OBE, Chairman at Seeing Machines commented:

"Kate has had a very accomplished career both at Deloitte and as a director of ASX listed companies. Her skills and experience will further strengthen our Board as we work closely with the executive team to grow the business and leverage the considerable demand for our technology, globally.

"I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Jim, on behalf of the Board and the executive team, for his overall contribution and in particular, his mining industry expertise. Jim has been an energetic and supportive member through significant periods in the business' history - we wish him well for the future."

About Seeing Machines - www.seeingmachines.com

Seeing Machines (LSE: SEE), a global company headquartered in Australia, is an industry leader in computer vision technologies which enable machines to see, understand and assist people. The Company's machine learning vision platform has the know-how to deliver real-time identification and understanding of drivers through Artificial Intelligence (AI) analysis of heads, faces and eyes. This insight enables Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), which monitor driver/operator identification and attention and can detect drowsiness and distraction across multiple transport sectors.

Seeing Machines develops DMS for the Automotive, Commercial Fleet, Aviation, Rail and Off-Road markets. The Company has offices in Australia, USA, Europe and Asia, and delivers multi-platform solutions to industry leaders in each vertical.

DMS is becoming a core safety technology integrated into ADAS offerings for the automotive industry, particularly with the development of semi-autonomous and self-driving cars. DMS is also increasingly seen to be an integral safety feature across the Commercial Transport & Logistics industry globally.
