2019 Results Update
The Board of SEC Newgate (AIM: SECG), the international communications, advocacy and research group, today provides the following update ahead of the publication of the Group's audited results for the year ended 31 December 2019. The 2019 consolidated results will comprise the consolidated results of SEC S.p.A. until 3 September 2019 and the consolidated results of the enlarged Group (following the merger of SEC S.p.A. and Porta Communications Plc) for the final four months of 2019, to include changes in accounting treatment under IFRS16.
After preliminary audit review, SEC Newgate now expects to report consolidated turnover of Euro 47.6 million, Operating Profit of Euro 1.8 million and Profit Before Tax of c. Euro 1.3 million. Consolidated Group Net Debt at 31 December 2019 was c. Euro 8.7 million (excluding the impact of IFRS 16 adjustments).
The Board expects to announce the detailed audited results in the first week of June 2020 following formal audit sign off.
