SavileĀ GroupĀ createsĀ blue chipĀ Advisory Board led by Lord Freeman toĀ helpĀ guide theĀ companyĀ to furtherĀ success.
TodayĀ Savile Group announces the creation of a prestigious new Advisory Board which will support SavileĀ GroupĀ and its three subsidiaries IDDAS, Fairplace and Cedar TalentĀ ManagementĀ by providing strategic and market-related advice, and help guide the Group as it builds on its recent successes.
Led by businessman and former cabinet minister Lord Freeman, the Board comprises distinguished individuals with highly successful backgrounds in industry, the law, accountancy, academia,Ā human resources and politics.

The board expects to announce the Company's final results for the year ended 30 June 2008 on 24 September 2008.

Biographical Details on membersĀ of theĀ Advisory Board
The Rt HonĀ Lord FreemanĀ is chairman of Thales plc and chairman of Cambridge University Technology Transfer Office. He is a former partner and managing director of Lehman Brothers and a former partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has held various ministerial positions, including cabinet minister for public service.
ProfessorĀ Chris BonesĀ is principal ofĀ HenleyĀ ManagementĀ College. He was previously group organisation effectiveness and development directorĀ for Cadbury Schweppes. He hasĀ alsoĀ worked for ShellĀ andĀ Diageo, and has significant international business experience and a reputation as a leading practitioner in executive education and development, change and HR strategy. Chris is a highly regarded speaker at international conferences on change, HR strategy and employment branding. He is a Board member of Skills for Government, the sector skills council for the Civil Service and an independent non-executive director of the Agricultural & Horticultural Levy Board.
JanetĀ Gaymer, CBE QC,Ā was senior partner of Simmons & Simmons and is now an independent consultant. She is also commissioner for public appointments and a civil service commissioner. In November she received the City ofĀ London Law Society'sĀ lifetimeĀ achievementĀ award. She was the founder chairman of both theĀ UKĀ and European Employment Lawyers Associations and is now respectively life vice president and honorary chairman of the associations. Other achievements include: being a member of the Employment Tribunals Service Steering Board, chair of the Employment Tribunal System Taskforce, and a member of the Council of ACAS; an honorary fellow of St Hilda's College,Ā Oxford, an honorary doctor of laws ofĀ NottinghamĀ UniversityĀ and an honorary doctor of theĀ UniversityĀ ofĀ Surrey.
John SalmonĀ was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 29 years. As well as his responsibilities to clients in many industries, he initiated and led for 11 years PwC's services to non-executive directors of major listed companies, which included briefings and workshops. He was also an elected member and deputy chairman of PwC's supervisory board, its own governance body. John is a non-executive director of St Modwen Properties plc.
AlexĀ WilsonĀ is group human resources director at BT. Prior to this, he was senior vice president human resources for ICI having previously worked for Diageo, where he was HR director for Guinness, as well as managing director of its continental European business. Before this, he worked for 10 years for the Ford Motor Company and then spent 12 years with Grand Metropolitan working in the brewery, retail and international drinks divisions. At BT, Alex is responsible for HR excellence across the group with functional responsibility for the HR directors of BT's various lines of business covering the international andĀ UKĀ environments. He also has specific responsibility for organisational development and the executive development of senior management throughout the group.
