Re proposed demerger of Safestay plc ("Safestay")

Safeland plc ("Safeland" or the "Company") notes the announcement released today by Safestay and that Safestay has published an admission document in connection with admission to trading on AIM which is expected to become effective on 2 May 2014 ("Admission").

In addition, Safeland announces that on Admission each Safeland shareholder on the register at 6.00pm on 14 March 2014 will receive 1 new Safestay share for every 4.66 Safeland shares held.
